Driving cross country in a campervan and needed a place to unwind during our stay in Custer. This house turned out to be an absolutely perfect fit! Had all the amenities and personal touches you could ever ask for. The host was very responsive and pleasant. Everything in the house was so comfy and cozy and all seemed brand new and immaculate. You could tell the host went the extra mile to provide everything you would need for a perfect stay. So close to everything in the area, traveling around to explore was super convenient. On a scale from 1 to 10...i would give it an 11! Thanks to the host for a super stay!

Susie and Darwin have created an absolute gem of a cabin, and our stay could not have been more perfect. We spent five nights here, and it was the ideal location for everything we wanted to see and do. The cabin itself is beautifully designed inside and out—with every detail thoughtfully considered. The décor is tasteful and inviting, and Susie’s personal touches make the space feel truly special. It’s the kind of place that immediately feels like home. On top of that, we had the pleasure of getting to know Susie and Darwin during our stay and feel fortunate to have left not only with wonderful memories but also with two new friends.

Really enjoyed our stay. Great cabin, great host, great location. It was well stocked, very clean, beautifully decorated. It has a nice patio for relaxing with a good book or morning coffee. You won’t regret staying here.

We could not have loved our stay at the Paradise Land Cabin more. It was perfectly appointed for our family of four. We loved that the location was close to all the big highlights that we wanted to see (Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Custer, etc). The kitchen was great so we didn't have to eat all of our meals out, and we loved that there was in-unit laundry. Both kids gave it two thumbs up as well. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Charming Custer Cabin

This was our second stay at this cabin...we just love it! The owners (Susie and Darwin) have put so much work into making the cabin a home away from home. So many amenities and attention to detail! The cabin and the grounds around it are always clean and extremely well-kept. It's very quiet and peaceful! The location is great as it's very close to shops and restaurants in Custer, and also just a few minutes from Custer State Park and Crazy Horse. Would highly recommend staying here if you're in the area. We hope to visit again!
