The house was comfortable and nicely appointed. The kitchen was well stocked and beautiful to cook in. It was a peaceful lake and a beautiful view. Beds were comfortable. We enjoyed using the included pontoon boat to fish.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this gorgeous cabin. We lucked out with beautiful weather, the lake was quiet, and we had fun taking the pontoon out for a spin. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Great property and location. There cabin is able to accommodate a lot of sleeping arrangements which was great for our family. We enjoyed the fire pit, dock, fishing, and deck. Great high end finishes throughout. The only negative on the property was the musty smell in the basement and main area which was moisture related.

Very nice home, everything was well stocked. Kitchen had everything you would need. Pontoon was very nice, lakeshore was very clean. The firepit was fabulous, we had a nice fire several nights. We only had six adults, but the house had ample seating for a large group, inside and out. Nice gas fireplace in the house.

Beautiful lake home

This lake home had very adequate supplies; kitchen was very useful in the large family room. There are many beds for a large group. The teen girls enjoyed the bunk beds. A bathroom on each floor was essential so welcome. We so enjoyed the included pontoon and were able to launch our boat to pull tubers. A campfire provided us with an enjoyable time having s'mores. O'Brien Lake was really a nice clear lake with sandy bottom. Thanks also to Greg for quick replies to questions we had. From Waukon, Iowa and Mpls. area.

Lots of space

Very clean. Lots of beds, more than our extended family of 9 needed. Kitchen well stocked, newer appliances, plenty of seating for dining, both inside and out. Large private yard with easy access to a nice dock and pontoon. Small beach area was enjoyed. Lake was quiet and clean.

Amazing family vacation spot

We cannot say enough about this place. The house was perfect size to accommodate our group of 6 adults, two teenagers and 4 younger kids. The beach was clean and the water so clear. Having use of the pontoon was clutch and made for roomier fishing expeditions with the kiddos. Would absolutely stay here again. Greg and Nancy were perfect hosts and the house was stocked with everything a family would need.

Beautiful property

Our family really enjoyed staying here. Lots of great fishing! Clean little beach area to play. Chairs on dock were a great place to relax. House is well stocked with dishes, towels, etc We would definitely stay here again.

Dream Getaway!

We had the most wonderful time at this beautiful cabin. We cant say enough positive things about the experience. Beautiful, clean, amazing hosts and it fit our large group perfectly. I would rate this an 11 out of 10 stay!

Family Getaway

This property is one the best VRBOs we have ever had the pleasure of staying at. It has everything you need and more. It was clean, nicely decorated, warm and inviting. Greg was responsive with questions and very accommodating with our requests. We had so much fun going on pontoon boat rides, catching fish off the dock, making s'mores around the fire, playing bags with the grown-ups and playing on the little sandy beach with the grandbabies. We would definitely stay here again!

Love this place!

We had a short get away with our family that included 8 adults, 3 kids under 6 and 2 infants. We had more than enough room for everyone and found quiet spots for the infants.The pictures of the cabin are very accurate, it really is that beautiful. It came very well stocked, had everything we needed. Plenty of games for the kids and even little light up toys for them. The kids thought the upstairs was amazing with the two bunkbeds and huge bedroom. The owners were very accommodating and were very quick in getting back to us with any questions. I'd love to visit this place in the summertime because the view down to the lake is awesome. In my opinion, you really can't go wrong in renting this place.

Fantastic family getaway

Family birthday fun

Rented Greg’s cabin as a place to get away to celebtate my dad’s 60th birthday and we loved it. Greg was very responsive, the home was clean and well stocked, and the setting is beautiful. Kids loved catching fish off the dock and riding the pontoon on the lake seeing the beautiful Fall colors. Would absolutely stay again.

Family Fall Get Away

My family and I spent an amazing 4 days on Lake O’Brien near Crosslake! The Lake Home was perfect for us! It was peaceful and relaxing. It was wonderful having a bathroom on each floor. The grandkids loved the loft. The adults loved having the lower level to themselves! I stayed on the main floor. It was perfect for everyone! The kitchen was well stocked. We loved having the grill near us on the deck which made it very handy. The fire pit was a perfect way to enjoy the fall weather both during the day and the evening! The view of the lake from the living room was so pretty! We loved the fireplace! We left relaxed and ready to take on the change of seasons ahead!

Family Vacation

Lake OBrien was perfect for our full family stay. Grandpa enjoyed fishing off the dock with grandkids. All 13 of us had enough room to spread out. Beach for all ages was clean and shallow. This place had beach toys, a Lilly pad, even an air compressor for our inflatables. Kitchen well stocked. We brought our own airfryer for quick fries and nuggets. Otherwise they had everything you would need. Ample outdoor seating. Great fire pit. We willl be back!

Great property for families to enjoy the outdoors and each other!

Wonderfully maintained, close to towns and other activities, great lake and pontoon to enjoy, and the sandy beach was great for the little ones and wading in! Caught sooooooooooo many fish right from the dock! Home has everything you could ever want and more! Great communication with the owners! We had the most spectacular time! Can't wait for next time!

Great stay

I had a group of women together for a get away weekend, and the cabin is incredible! Clean, spacious, great accommodations, beautiful lake. I just wish we could have had a later check out and earlier check in. But Doug was very accommodating.

Family vacation

This property can accommodate large families and kitchen has enough plates, silverware, etc. for the large groups. Lake is so clear and beach is sandy. The pontoon is definitely an asset to have included with the cost of rental.
