My husband and I and our Doodle spent 9 wonderful nights over the Christmas holiday at this beautiful cabin /house.Loved the views, the quiet and location.Just across the street from several trails that wrap around the lake and walking distance to a great little dog park where our dog could run and play off leash.The house was sparkling clean and fresh when we arrived. Loved the large and well stocked kitchen with everything we needed to prepare our holiday meals. The bedrooms each had comfortable beds and nice linens.The deck is awesome and the stars at night while we sat around the fire pit made it extra special.Though it rained and the winds blew for several days,we were well stocked and the fireplace kept our spirits warm.We enjoyed our nightly fires in the fireplace,burning either pressed logs or real wood.The owners, Cheri and Brett were very responsive and helpful answering questions we had and a pleasure to deal with.We look forward to our return.

Very clean. My dog and I loved the walking path directly across from the cabin. We enjoyed spectacular sunsets from the deck. Kitchen was well stocked.

The home is beautiful, warm and very clean. The deck was perfect for sitting with family around the table firepit and a lovely view. There are games upstairs, pac man downstairs and the kitchen is well stocked. All appliances are clean and work great. The hosts are quick to respond and allowed us to check in a little early which we really appreciate. A wonderful trip!

Beautiful Mountain location with great views of the lake! The people in the Community are very friendly and welcoming. The weather was perfect we couldn’t have asked for anything more. We are definitely planning to go back and spend more time in Lake Gregory and Crestline. It was an awesome weekend in the Mountains!

Stunning Lake View Cabin - 4th of July weekend stay!

Overall, this is a great home with plenty of space and a GREAT (almost lakefront) location. Cheri/Brett are very attentive and responsive to questions/concerns you may have before/during/after your stay. Gave 4/5 for cleanliness due to porch furniture not being clean. We had to pound out the dirt in the cushions and clean the table tops ourselves before using them. Interior was very clean!Gave 4/5 overall due for a couple reasons... Basically, the furniture (upstairs) is not terribly comfortable - mainly the couch where you'll sit to watch TV. There is a great space downstairs with a better couch, but no one wanted to hang out down there as there was no TV (as pictured/should be expected). No TVs in any of the bedrooms either - which would be nice for downtime. We had an issue with the BBQ but Brett was quick to respond/come over & fix it. Heard from others staying in the area that ants were a big issue at their VRBOs - but this home did not have a problem. Beds were comfy. AC worked great. A great stay overall!!

Cozy and Restful Getaway

We had a wonderful stay at this charming home in Crestline, just steps from beautiful Lake Gregory. The house was clean, cozy, and well-maintained — perfect for a relaxing mountain getaway. The hosts were incredibly kind and responsive, making everything from check-in to check-out smooth and easy.The home has plenty of space, and everything we needed was right there. While the bathrooms are clean and fully functional, they are a bit dated — the only minor drawback in an otherwise lovely stay.We’d happily return and recommend this home to anyone looking for a peaceful and scenic escape in the mountains!

Not what we expected

We stayed over mother's day weekend for my birthday with my parents my 2 teens and 2 tiny dogs.The driveway was horrible. It's like driving at a 90 degree angle to get to the house. Unfortunately I ended up getting my car scratched. So beware. The kitchen faucet kept dripping even though the water was turned off and it was heavy dripping. The bathroom upstairs was extremely outdated. The dining table only had 4 chairs when property is meant for 8. Very little cookware provided in poor condition I had to purchase a tea kettle and a few pans to use. Bed had no blankets. We had to use the bed spread to cover ourselves. The stairs to get to the lower level were scary too steep and narrow so please be safe if you have kids. Sofa upstairs is meant for 2 people but a huge sectional at the lower level. The master bedroom bed was 5 feel tall I had to use a ladder to get onto it. Mind you I have bad knees and back so it was not easy or accessible by any means. My elderly parents barely left the house for 3 days. The only 2 pluses were the owner Brett was awesome and prompt in response. And the view was nice. We left 1 day early due to the inconvenience of the house.

Excellence! Lives up to its name ‘Stunning Lake View’

House is clean, well appointed, across the road from walking paths, expansive deck, and stunning view of Lake Gregory. Our family enjoyed relaxing and enjoying the lake and town. The hosts were very responsive and thoughtful. We definitely consider the house our first choice when we return to Crestline in the future.Thank you for providing the perfect place for a wonderful stay!

Perfect for Family Vibes

Our stay was absolutely incredible! Cheri and Brett checked in with us before our arrival, and didnt hesitate to swing by during our stay to help replace the propane tank on the deck for the firepit. The kitchen is spacious and has everything you need to cook breakfast for the entire family. The appliances are top notch! I loved making my way around the kitchen. The living room was cozy. My mom, baby, and I spent most of the weekend lounging around on the couch. The beds are huge and comfy. The deck view was to die for! We brung our standard poodle with us and he had a ball running around on the deck and sunbathing. The firpit was a family favorite!! And it actually keeps everyone warm. We made smore's and chatted all night long around the fire. The Lake, was gorgeous! We literally crossed the street and walked the trail down to the bait and tackle shop where we were able to purchase fishing poles, day passes, bait, and more. It's a really nice trail. Everyone was friendly, and had a great attitude. I will definitely be staying at Cheri & Brett's place again whenever I visit the lake..

Family get together before school started

4 day 3 night get away to spend some time with our CA grandkids and their parents before school started back up. We've stayed in Lake Arrowhead before, and really found this location much preferred. Home is located just a short walk across the road to Lake Gregory and a hiking trail. Home was well furnished and frankly, the deck outside was by far the defining feature of the home.the deck is spacious with a partial wrap around to the back of the home and overlooked the lake. We had one issue. The air mattress that was provided for sleeping had a leak and wouldn't stay inflated. Let the owner know about it, and the next morning he provided a new air mattress!
