While staff was friendly, first room had a low battery error on smoke detector, second room had rust stain on comforter. Location is right by the train tracks, and there were 3 trains between midnight and 7 am. And either cats or bats were going at. Think the bed had a broken spring in the middle of the bed, so sleeping was limited.

Very clean and comfortable room. We take a couple trip in October each year and when I went on Hotels.com, this place came up. The longer I looked at it, the better I felt about booking it. They are in the process of redoing the whole property and they are doing an excellent job! Very clean, freshly painted and pressure washed and parking lot restriped. Very impressed.

Water pressure was not very strong. And the water only was luke warm. I ran the heat at 90 degrees and had to sleep with my hoodie to bed to stay warm. The heat was only as good as the water

Let's start with the stains on the ceiling, the one over the toilet was sprinkling debris on the toilet seat, dead bugs on the floor, yellow stains on the bed sheet, smoke alarm started chirping for a new battery at 1:30 am. Phone wasn't hooked up and outlet for it broken. I left disgusted at 2am for my 4 hour drive home. Will never stay there again!!

This property is run fairly well but I am surprised by the cluttered environment, littering, and total lack of landscaping maintenance. Our room is right next to a housekeeping area, very dirty, and appears to be poorly equipped. The office attendant is cordial and helpful. Our room is clean with minimal amenities but you get what you pay for. My biggest criticism is the lack of cleanliness around the campus.

Asphalt!

The parking lot was being paved, and the asphalt smell was terrible outside and inside of the room. The hotel did not let me cancel and refund my money. They should not have been taking reservations while under construction. And they should have done the right thing and refunded my money so I could reserve a room at another hotel.
