"We visited for an overnight on Memorial Day weekend. The hotel had already switched to all air conditioning. The weather all weekend was in the 50s and raining. The rooms and hotel in general was freezing and we were told there was nothing they could do. There was no way to turn off the ac. The pool had no towels and we were told they were busy and doing the best they could. The onsite restaurant took over an hour for six meals. Nothing extravagant was ordered. When the food was received most meals were cold and not good. The steak was pure fat that cost $42. The website indicated the hotel was renovated a few months ago but the cabinet door to the refrigerator was hanging off and there was rust around the shower drain. The rooms were ok other than temperature. It seems the hotel may have been unprepared for how many guest were booked for the weekend."
