We loved staying here. The views are beautiful and my son loved fishing off the dock. The house is clean and well organized. Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed at Moose Point Lookout while celebrating a family wedding in Grand Rapids. We had a wonderful time and the cabin was perfect for our family of six. The cabin was well stocked with everything we needed and was very clean. The lake views from the many windows and the sunroom were the kids’ favorite. The host and her team were exceptional and we are looking forward to staying again!

Winter getaway

We enjoyed our trip to Grand Rapids. Lovely views of the lake with close access to winter activities and beautiful ski trails. We had all we needed for a cozy stay.

Beautiful stay on Pokegama!

Moose Point was the perfect spot for our family getaway. We loved hearing the loons on the water, kayaking in the mornings and wrapping up the day next to a fire and smores! Will definitely book again.

Great Weekend Getaway

My little family went here for a weekend getaway and it did not disappoint! Very cute and cozy home right on the lake. My young son had so much fun wondering around the property and we had fun fishing! Booking and checking in were both very easy, which is always helpful for a vacation. Would definitely return!

We had a wonderful time and were thrilled with the entire place. The owner and manager were incredibly attentive and the house and grounds were immaculate. The photos are 100% accurate. We would stay there again and hope to.

Minnesota Lake Perfection

We loved this place! The view was incredible. Not only from the dock and upper patio but also from the living room and attached porch. We also appreciated the nice bathroom and the ability to have a campfire or just an electric fire in the patio fire pit. We would love to visit again and will tell others to do the same!

I loved the cabin as it was clean, efficiently equipped, comfortable and in great working order! The grounds had a variety of seating areas and a great view of the lake. The dock was nice and stable. Maria was excellent and quick to answer questions! The swimming area was heavily weeded and we did not find a swimming area near the cabin. We forfeited that and instead watched more of the Olympics! A family with children would prefer a swimming area in most cases as it was a very hot day!

Fantastic Cabin on Pokegama!!

We stayed for a week at their Moose Point Lookout on Pokegama Lake. What an amazing property! It was clean, comfortable, and convenient! With many amenities—boat dock, kayaks, SUP, laundry, outdoor seating with fire pit and outdoor dining with grill. Watching the water and all the wildlife from the upper patio or at the water’s edge was simply magical—-loons, bald eagles, woodpeckers, red squirrels, swans with babies and jumping fish!!! Maria was easy to work with, very responsive and communicative before, during and after our stay. I have a couple recommendations to make your stay over the top perfect (black out blind in bunk room-the morning sun beams right in that window! Privacy curtain for sun room sofa bed guests and a bathroom towel rack) but truly have no complaints and only praise for Moose Point Lookout. If you want a power boat rental recommendation, we recommend Pokegama Boat Rentals LLC (the Holsmans are awesome). We will definitely stay at MPL the next time we come to Grand Rapids!
