Exceeded my expectations. Room was spacious and well appointed. Good internet. Updated bathroom and very comfortable bed. The 1889 Dining Room was outstanding. I had a delicious green salad and perfectly cooked Elk backstrap tenderloin. Topped it off with ice cream and peach panna cotta. Highly recommended and I plan to return. Friendly staff also.

It was a great experience. If you are older keep in mind there is no elevators so if you are on the 3rd floor you will have to carry everything up the stairs.

A perfect retreat for rest in a beautiful place. Vintage Victorian with modern comforts. The restaurant is incredible! The atmosphere is unique and charming. The rooms are cozy and oh so comfortable. We watched deer walking around the property as we ate our dinner. Close enough to the town’s shopping and restaurants to be convenient, but tucked into the trees to give a feeling of retreat. Will definitely stay here again.

Quite the history with this hotel, front desk is phenomenal at making you feel welcome as well as bartender in the bar. Recommend they replace the mattress in our room as it was a bit saggy. Going to the tower was a treat!
