Fantastic Experience!
Right when we walked in the cabin was neat and put together quite well. There were plenty of cooking supplies to get us along for the short weekend we were there. The Lodge was so nice. It was so clean and neat. The floors were heated when you took your boots off at the door, making for a warm place to freshen up with a nice warm shower. I went early in the morning and no one else was showering at the same time as me which made my mornings feel slow and peaceful. We all really enjoyed our stay and we even got to see a fox!

We loved our stay. Cabin was cozy and clean. The staff at the Historic Cabins at Columbine were wonderful, friendly and very helpful! Enjoyed the history of the cabins and made the hike up Hahn’s Peak.
I hope to return!!!
This is our second time staying at the Historic Cabins. We LOVE this property and the folks who run it. It has everything that you need: comfortable beds, a warm woodfire stove, a functional kitchen with all of the things you would need. Although, some of the (smaller/more basic) cabins have a woodfire oven only: so, if a typical oven is something you need to have, I would confirm this before booking. It works but is slow going. The bath house is the seriously the CLEANEST that I've ever seen, and we've been to a lot of campgrounds through the years. Truly, it is immaculate, and they even provide towels, wash cloths, and bath mats. The lodge has a ping pong table, billards table, and fooseball table, along with large comfy chairs to view Hahn's Peak. Adventuring between the woodfire sauna and a snow bath is a wonderful experience, if you're visiting in winter. I would HIGHLY recommend the Historic Cabins to anyone wanting to travel to the area. We will come back time and time again!
The Cabins was an absolutely wonderful place to stay on our honeymoon--quiet, delightful, private yet somehow also having the feeling of a nice little community, beautifully located, and clean. Todd and Tammy have made this place exceptionally friendly and comfortable. Hopefully we can come back someday with more friends!

Mountain get away
Absolutely perfect, relaxing, peaceful and beautiful.
We loved the tranquility of the location, easy drive to three lakes where you can rent lake toys or bring your own and a short drive to 3 restaurants. The facility has books for readers, two table games plus corn hole for those who want to play games. And definitely buy ice cream while there because it’s home made in Craig and is excellent! We will return!
A break from the world to connect with my kids! We were able to put all devices down, play games, read books, cook, laugh and sauna together! What a beautiful spot to create special memories for our family!
Great location for fishing the nearby lakes (Steamboat, Pearl, Hahn's Peak). Cabins are rustic, clean and well maintained, while the bathrooms and showers in the main lodge are modern and very clean.
Great place to get away and be off grid.

The Cabins at Historic Columbine were just that; a true rustic cabin. I received a phone call prior to my arrival to ask if I had any questions and they informed me of what to expect. The was ample firewood already cut and stacked for me. And we had everything we needed for the week.
