The J’s stay

Had a great time! Enjoyed the kitchen and eating area and bed. The hot tub and sauna were great after a day on the mountain! The couch has seen better days and we couldn’t really rely on the shuttle. Overall great stay!

Perfect Ski in Ski out Location!

You’ll love your stay at this ideal ski in and ski out location, with ski lockers on the ground floor it’s a few steps out the door to clip into your skis and your on the hill immediately. Easy to find the signed storm meadows ski path to return to the condo at the end of the day. The king bed was very comfortable and the condo supplied everything needed for an amazing ski trip. Make sure to bring walking snow boots, as its an easy 8 minute walk down the ski hill to the base area to enjoy the Apre ski events, or alternatively the condo provides free shuttle service to downtown/grocery/base area.

Not a bad place, but mountain view in title is misleading

We had a great time in Steamboat, but we were a little disappointed in the accommodations. Mountain View is listed in the title. While the condo property does have Mountain Views, this particular unit has a parking lot view. When we arrived, there was a large sticky spot on the counter (about 5”) and the unit was fairly dusty (you could see a good layer of dust on the coffee table). The condo is technically ski in/ski out but it’s a bit more of a hike than we expected (especially coming back in). The first evening we found there was only one bath towel for two people after searching everywhere in the unit. We texted the property manager and they corrected this within the hour bringing us 5-6 more towels. Also, the microwave didn’t work. It would turn on for 3 seconds, then shut off. Also, the walls are thin. You could hear everything from the hallway and the parking lot. We felt this place was a little expensive for what we got. We wouldn’t stay here next time we come to Steamboat.

Highly Recommend!

Highly recommend this place! Exactly as described in the listing. Location was perfect. Property was super clean inside and out. We felt right at home as soon as we walked in the door. Great property

The place itself was quite nice and right near the slopes Unfortunately, there is no place really to drop off my bags and skis, but they did accommodate my dropping them off at the office. It would really be great if they had a place set up to do so, and if communication with the office personnel with something other than texts. When I realized there was a problem, the person I contacted only wanted to communicate through texting, which was pretty annoying when I didn’t know what to do and was relying on a personal touch.

Nice unit - great kitchen, well appointed. Nice spot on the mountain. The only minor downside was that the listing did not mention the view was of the car park & the pull-out sofa wasn't overly comfortable.

Beautifully appointed unit with EXCELLENT mattress

This is touted as a ski-in/ski-out condo. It is but you must figure out how to ski out and ski back on your own. There is no guidance in the unit on how to do so. Exit the ski locker level and look up the mountain, there is a path there with an orange plastic fencing, you can continue on the path or ski down at one of the openings. There is a stair, too. To return: ski past the Thunderhead express and stay to your right as high as you can and you will find a path with signage to unit C. The spa has a small warm work out room and the hot tub needs to have the jets repaired. The shuttle system is complicated. There are many shuttles , each for a different real estate management company BUT the guest service person at itrip is very eager to help and responsive. There were no matches in the unit for the fireplace. This unit has one key and a lockbox that is almost too small for the key and lanyard. This is a nuisance if you are a party of 2 or more, because you will use the key to unlock your ski locker, downstairs, then go back upstairs to leave the key in your lockbox for anyone else in your group should they want to leave the unit later or return earlier. There is no hand held shower if you need one for kids. There is a nepresso machine and drip coffee maker. Bring you own coffee, there are no starter packs. I would definitely stay again in this unit as it is roomy, the grill worked, the mattress is divine.

True Ski in/Ski out

The condo has beautiful modern touches but still maintains the mountain-cabin coziness. Ski right on and off Steamboat mountain in about 5 minutes! We were pleasantly surprised at how easy it was and would love to come back because of it. The bed was great, fireplace was ripping, full kitchen and dining were helpful. Thanks again.

Great getaway

The property managers were super friendly, responsive, and helpful. The unit was just as described. The only thing I would like to add is that although it is a true ski in / ski out for skiers, not for snowboarders. Be prepared to do a little of walking for the 'ski-in'. The 'ski in' may get better throughout the season and we were trying to be mindful and not ski in too fast just in case of other people may be around. The shuttle service included was great, we definitely made use of that option. I would recommend booking here and other locations from the same property management company. The service was more than excellent. We will be back!

Nice condo but not walkable To restaurants

First to say the condo was very nice and clean. The property was also well-maintained. The ad for this condo describes the condo as being able to walk to restaurants, you cannot do that you’re about a mile up the hill so that is impossible. I booked this condo to be able to walk to restaurants so that was a big deal. The check in process was horrific as it turns out there was a mistake made by a new employee, we were not settled into our condo until two hours after we got to steamboat after driving around from one location to the next. Danielle was very kind and accommodating I have to tell you that. After driving four hours to get here it was a nightmare to not know where we were going due to the mixup in emails on vrbo’s behalf and it take an extra two hours to get into our condo.

Exceeded our expectations!

This place was absolutely perfect for our family of 4. It was true ski in-ski out (snowboarders you’ll likely need to walk a bit since the path is a little flat in a few spots) but excellent access to the base of the mountain. The place was fully equipped with everything we needed. It even had a waffle maker so we could make waffles on Christmas morning. It was beautifully decorated and the comfort of the king sized bed deserves an A+. The ski locker was very convenient, no issues with parking out in front of the condo, and iTrip’s free shuttle service was a huge perk. iTrip is a franchise and I had read some not so stellar reviews (in other areas of the country) and was a bit worried. Do not hesitate to book with them. Their communication (I mostly texted) was excellent. Responded within minutes. I would book with iTrip again in a heartbeat.
