Lovely relaxing break

We had a lovely stay at East Cottage. The cottage is lovely, clean and well equipped. The location is perfect, very peaceful and just a few minutes walk to Church Stretton with coffee shops, nice quirky shops and pubs. We arranged for a food delivery from Asda for when we arrived which worked well for us and there is a large Co-op around a 10 minute walk away for any top ups required. Thank you for a lovely stay.

A very enjoyable weekend

At first we had a little difficulty finding the cottage, but it was in a very well placed for the town.My friend and I went to a workshop in All stretton, so we thought we would make a long weekend of it and found East Cottage on Vrbo site. David and Gill the owners, were very accomadating to my needs as i have a disability. The cottage is very roomy and comfortable. It met our needs very well. It was well equipped and warm.

Wonderful Cottage

East Cottage is in the perfect location for exploring the area on foot and by car. Lots of walks from the doorstep. It has everything you need and is so cosy and welcoming, a real home from home. We loved it. The owners have really thought of everything.

Quiet Retreat

Lovely warm terraced cottage in a small cul de sac that is out of the way but within 4 minutes walk of village centre. A well equipped kitchen with a utility room that we found ideal for drying wet outdoor clothing. The cottage was spacious with good storage. Smart TV was a bonus along with the biscuits and bara brith left for us. The

East Cottage Church Stretton

The cottage is much larger than I had anticipated. It’s very central to the town but also gives easy access to the Long Mynd. It’s very clean and warm with comfortable furnishings and a well-appointed kitchen. Perfect for our family needs!

Excellent location to explorers the Shropshire hills and beyond. Surprisingly spacious property. Well equipped and only a couple of minutes walk into central Church Stretton. Definitely would consider again if staying in the area.

Fantastic property in an amazing location

The property was spacious, beautifully clean and very well equipped. We were able to walk from the doorstep straight onto several walking routes. The local deli provided delicious lunch options. We would definitely return here. Highly recommend.

A very good place to stay

We very much enjoyed staying in the cottage, which we found very clean and well equipped. The cottage was in an ideal location with easy parking. The welcome pack of cake and biscuits was also much appreciated. The only thing we wondered was whether it would be useful to have some hooks in the boot room for wet coats as there's more room in that area when coming in from the rain, (of which there was, unfortunately, quite a bit), than in the front door. We also found the sound coming from the TV to be a little muffled and unclear, though this could be due to our imperfect hearing. All in all, an excellent place to stay and we would happily return.

A week at East Cottage.

We had a lovely week in Church Stretton. The cottage was spotlessly clean and welcoming . My daughter remarked on leaving that she would stay there again " in a heartbeat " .

We liked the height of the old picket fence better, felt less enclosed, but as usual we loved our stay. We left a black battery pack there, is it possible to keep it to one side until our visit next year?

Pretty cottage in beautiful location

I had a lovely short stay in this property in Nov ‘23 with family. Both the cottage and local surroundings are very pretty. The cottage is well equipped and large - would make the perfect base for people on a walking holiday.
