Lucea Cottage in Craven Arms, a modernised Victorian building comfortably sleeping 2 people.

Guests can enjoy this fully equipped 1 bedroom cottage with separate double bedroom and open plan dining and lounge area with flat screen TV, including a kitchen area with fridge, hob, oven and microwave.

The cottage is in the ideal location to visit the surrounding areas of Shropshire with all its natural beauty. It is in the middle of all of them with the historic towns of Ludlow with Ludlow Castle and Church Stretton the heart of the Shropshire hills a short car, bus or train ride away. Bridgnorth and Ironbridge are both about 20 minutes drive away.
The property is just around the corner from the Shropshire Hills Discovery Center here you can find out many things about the local area, buy gifts and have lunch in the cafe. There is also a 30 acre Onny Meadow, well signposted for gentle strolls along riverside paths, through wild flowers and woodland.

Comfortable cottage with everything you need for a short stay. The bed was cosy with nice pillows and bed linen, the sofa was comfortable and free view tv was welcome in the evening. There was a very welcome pint of milk in the fridge. As we were visiting relatives we didn’t eat in the cottage at all, but the kitchen seemed well-equipped. The shower was hot and (although not super powerful) you came out clean and warm! Handy having shower gel and shampoo provided too. Access was easy and communication with the owner good. Lucea Cottage is right in the middle of Craven Arms and very handy for the Discovery Centre and the town centre shops etc. We visit the area regularly and would definitely book Lucea Cottage again.

Clean Bungalow

A clean bungalow in the heart of town. Although it might benefit by having the mattress replaced, we found it to be tidy and provide a decent place to stay while exploring the surrounding area.
