It was quiet and as we had the grandchildren (5 and 2) with us it was important to know that other guests couldn’t hear them. The top of the microwave shelf needed a good clean and we found a pair of socks on the floor in the bedroom that weren’t ours (we hadn’t unpacked when we found them).

Location was excellent to Hagley Park (walking) and to Cafe/Restaurants/Shopping (Riccarton Mall). Didn't need to use our car. Could do with a wee spruce up. But, then tariffs would increase. Good value at present for the tariff charged

Probably the cleanest motel I've ever stayed in. Like wow, cleaner than my house has ever been. The inside is a little bit kitch, and the shower very basic, but fine and overall excellent for the price. (but like you're doing yourself a disservice with the purple and the butterflies and the throw cushions, a bit of a glow up girl and you'll be fire).
