Everything was just right. We enjoy walking, so our days at Chester were superb. The small house was ideal for, had everything we could want and very comfortable too. Easy to leave the car and access everything on foot. Certainly recommend this, thank you

Chester town house

Good position easy access to Chester town centre and also Cheshire Oaks. Supermarkets and pubs in easy reach. House was very comfortable and clean - the close did look rather run down - nothing the owner could do about this. Overall an enjoyable and comfortable stay.

Ideal for our stay

The house had everything needed for a weeks stay. Close to walk and drive to Chester activities.and beyond, into Wales. Comfortable accommodation, supermarket a short walk away, a nice conservatory for meals. Just a pity the neighbours/council don’t remove weeds from the kerb, giving the street a little run down effect. We would definitely stay again.

A lovely little town house in a very quiet neighbourhood within 5 minutes walk of the University and close to the centre of Chester and the Walls. A helpful neighbour told us which bins to put out on collection day as the system was new to us. An Aldi store is close by for the things you forgot and The Little Owl next to it is a good pub for families with young children having a safe playground and garden. The house has all amenities you could need including a rare item , a teapot, but no cafetiere. A boat trip on the Dee is well worth it and the pub by the river has outdoor seating so you see all the boating activities including the City Rowing Club practising. Some large impressive houses stand on the opposite bank of the river. Chester is a delightful city well provided with parking but gets very busy and the Park & Ride enables you to ditch the car. Countryside round about is pleasant and scenic.

Great location, great city

The house was a in a great location with plenty of parking so we could ditch our cars for the weekend. It was clean and cosy with comfy beds. We loved the city and found a gorgeous Lebanese restaurant. Had a lovely walk along the city walls. Would love to come back and explore more. The only thing that let the property down was the mismatched crockery, many of which were chipped. This could be put right very cheaply with a matching dinner service and mugs. Apart from that all was excellent.

Well-appointed property in excellent location

Julie’s place is clean, comfortable, and well-appointed - we particularly enjoyed the room addition in the garden, a lovely place to relax over tea or a meal. The house is situated both close to historic downtown Chester and convenient to major roadways for those wishing to explore Chester and Northern Wales. A pub and an Aldi market are mere steps away, adding to the convenience and making it easy to stop on the way back from a day of exploring. Julie communicates clearly and is responsive. When there was a minor issue with an appliance, as happens with appliances, she dealt with it immediately making it possible for us to enjoy the last full day of vacation without worry. Secure off-Street parking is also a plus. If we’re fortunate to be in Chester again, we would definitely return.

Good location for exploring area in and around Chester. Parking no problems with shops and other facilities a short walk away. House was clean and tidy and had everything we needed for two reasonably fit adults. Narrow stairs could be a problem if any sort of disability but that is down to builder. All rooms pleasant and host provided not only all necessary information but added some personal recommendations for both shopping and eating out.
