We are so grateful for a weekend trip here. The cabin was clean and cozy with fresh towels, fresh linens, no complaints. The little details are what really got us. Filtered water already in the fridge, a s’mores kit, logs for the fire pit… wow! We appreciated every bit of it.The hot tub was super clean, the views were gorgeous, and well lit path to head down to the lake which has a cute little dock. Communication and directions were so clear and thought out — honestly wish more hosts did this! Thank you for making this trip as seamless as possible!

We had a wonderful stay at Dave and Shannon’s cabin! The property itself was very clean and well taken care of. What set it apart from other places we’ve stayed is the additional touches that create a very comfortable stay. This includes a well-equipped kitchen, many options for outdoor seating, very clean hot tub, water filters, and Roku TVs. We opted to stay in the bedroom downstairs. You can only access it from the outside (which is detailed in the listing.) We didn’t find this burdensome at all— it was easy to go in between the main house and the downstairs. Hosts were also very responsive when I reached out to them. Would absolutely stay here again!

The cabin was amazing! Host checked in multiple times and was very available if any issues came up, which we had no issues. The little details matter and this place was very thoughtful when it came to that. We will book this cabin again. And the views, multiple outdoor areas and lake was awesome!

This was the perfect spot for my family. We fell in love with the property quickly and had a wonderful old fashioned family vacation with the cabin and lake as the heart of it. I went birding every morning in the surrounding area and was able to see many different species followed by a morning hot tub with the kids every day. There were many fires in the fire pits which never went out due to a huge stack of wood and we went on family excursions every day in the surrounding area which were fantastic. My son saw Sasquatch in the neighborhood also. Just a good old time had by all. It was nice having our own floor and the kids having their own floor. Loved it

We enjoyed our stay at The Lakeside Escape. The views were wonderful and had plenty of areas to enjoy them. The communication with the owners was top notch and they wanted to make sure that we had the best time. The cabin and property grounds were very clean and well maintained. I would recommend staying and it's in a central location between Ellijay and Blue Ridge. 10/10 would stay again.
