We were impressed with how thoughtfully stocked this cabin was from plenty of cleaning supplies to very comfortable beds to a variety of kitchenware to towels specifically for the hot tub to treats and beds for our dogs. The owners seem to have thought of everything we could possibly need. There were plenty of interesting seating areas and the game room was fun for the adults as well as the kids. Great mountain biking/hiking trails nearby and overall very enjoyable vacation. We would definitely stay here again and again.

Spring Break

We had the most relaxing spring break with family and friends. This cabin has everything you need for an amazing stay in the area. We visited Blue Ridge and The Lilly Pad nearby, but most of our time was spent roasting marshmallows at the fire pit, fishing in the creek and pond (caught a rainbow trout), playing games in the game room, soaking in the hot tub, or simply relaxing on the porch. Perfect stay with amazing hosts.

We just had a family weekend at Olivers Hideaway, and it was amazing. Let me start by saying we have stayed in numerous cabins over the years, and this one by far was the best. First, the cabin was very clean and had everything you could need or want already there. The kitchen was fully stocked, had everything you could possibly need or want, appliances were new and very nice to use. The rooms were very big and comfortable. My daughter and her family stayed in the over the garage/playroom suite which was very spacious , two adults and two young boys were very comfortable. The family really enjoyed time in the big game room, mostly played ping pong, air hockey, and hit a few golf balls into the practice net.The cabin is directly on a trout stream, where we all fished, my son brought his waders, and did some fly fishing, we managed to catch a couple small trout, and a few tree limbs, the stream was so nice, no matter where you were on the property, you could hear the stream, very cool, our Golden Retriever enjoyed it as well. The jacuzzi was so nice and new, kids really loved that, the upstairs in the fully custom screened in porch directly on the stream was the place to sit, relax, or play some board games, which were provided. The cabin is exactly 20 min drive to D'town Blue Ridge,Let's just say the whole family (8 adults, 2 small children) had the most relaxing fun time. We will definitely be booking again, also the host for this property Mallory was so nice!!
