This first-floor apartment is in Résidence Améthystes in the picturesque village of Argentière. The apartment can sleep up to 4 guests and makes an ideal base for friends or family who want to explore the Mont Blanc Valley at any time of year. The residence is a pretty, half-timbered building set in lush gardens with a shared heated swimming pool and panoramic mountain views.

The apartment is an attractive combination of contemporary furniture with wooden elements. features an open-plan living room and dining area. This is furnished with a sofa, a flat-screen TV and a corner fireplace. The wooden dining table can seat 6 people. The door next to the table opens onto a private balcony. The balcony has a café-style table and chairs where guests can relax with a cup of coffee and enjoy their alpine surroundings.

The kitchen is partly separated from the living area by a half wall. It is open to allow easy serving and is well-equipped with a cooker hob, oven, microwave, Tassimo coffee machine, dishwasher, raclette, fondu and a fridge/freezer.

The apartment is in the heart of Argentière just 6 minutes from the ski lifts, allowing guests easy access to the slopes in the winter months. The slopes around Argentière suit skiers and snowboarders of all levels. For younger skiers, the Panda Club is a 3-minute drive from the apartment.

The area around Chamonix is an exciting holiday destination all year round. During the summer months, there are stunning mountain trails for hiking or mountain biking, as well as white-water rafting, golf, rock climbing and horse riding.

For self-catering the weekly farmers market (Sunday morning) in Place du Village (15-minute walk) is the ideal place to pick up the freshest local produce, including the famous Savoyard cheeses. Alternatively, there are several supermarkets close by and a bakery 8 minutes from the apartment.

The nearest airport is Geneva Airport, approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes away by car. Argentière railway station is an 11-minute walk, allowing easy access to Chamonix and the rest of the Mont Blanc Valley.
