Nelson's shoulder season

This property is a ten minute uphill walk from downtown. There was no one there in the shoulder season but us and I asked for the seasonal rate but was given a lousy $15 discount. The fold out bed from the couch was awful. Noisy and spring and bars sticking into your back. The until was clean and comfortable otherwise. There is no bath tub. Only a standing shower and the hot water ran very very hot.

Lovely place to stay! They upgraded our room for free so that was a delight when they told us. Friendly staff and great condition of rooms. Walkable distance to the town for when we wanted to eat out. Would recommend!

We had planned on staying one night but the weather the next day was bad. So we chose to stay another night and at the same place bc it was just easier then going to another hotel. I called the front desk early well before checkout and said we would be staying another day and that we would be in before checkout and be using a different card for the next day. I went in and paid for the room with another card. They however chose to run both cards. I had to wait a week to get my money back bc of their lack of trust. Greedy people and I will never stay here again!
