Exclusive villa above Taormina with pool and views of Etna and the sea

The terraced Villa Bougainvillea is located in a spacious, exclusive ground on a steep south-facing slope. Inside the fenced 3000 sqm property there is parking space for two cars. Outside, on the street, is enough space for further cars.

The Villa comprises three levels: the main house and two apartment levels. You have the possibility to rent the Villa for 4, 6 or 8 people (9 upon request). Even renting the Villa for fewer people, you rent the Villa exclusively. The perfect privacy is guaranted.

In the main house there are two bedrooms with king-size beds, individual bathrooms, a spacious living room, a guest toilet, a fully equipped new kitchen, the dining room, a shady patio and the panoramic terrace. A new staircase into the garden was built 2023. From the panoramic terrace you can enjoy a stunning view of the Mediterranean sea, the bay of Naxos and Mt. Etna. The evening offers a fascinating panorama of lights.

On the middle-level and pool-level are two beautiful apartments with 2 double beds, individual bathrooms and small living rooms. Access to the apartments is either by the central or by the side open stairs.

Baby travel beds and baby equipment can be set up on request. We want you to travel lightly!
All rooms have air conditioning.
We use bed linen and towels made from 100% organic cotton.

The pool (~11.5 x 4,5 m) is located on the lowest level and is well protected from prying eyes due to its location.

A car is recommanded but not a necessity, public transportation is available in close proximity and you can walk down the breathtaking Madonna della Rocca path to Taormina and get back up by bus or Taxi (15-20 Euro one way for a Taxi).

The exceptional architectural concept of the Villa is designed for 6 to 8 people, offers lots of possibilities for privacy or to enjoy time in company. Ideal for friends, couples, families with children or extended families.

Perfect stay for a multigenerational family in close to Taormina! Pool and views were gorgeous. We were a group of 8 friends and we loved our stay at Villa Bougainvillea. The house, view and pool were beautiful, clean and comfortable. The hosts were very communicative and Silvana the property manager was awesome The walk down to Taormina is fine if you take it slowly, we even walked back up once. We did day trips to other places and were very happy coming home to jump in the swimming pool to cool off and enjoy the sanctuary of the villa. I highly recommend a stay at this lovely property.

Beautiful property with exquisite views of Taormina and Etna. On our last night we had quite a show of Etna erupting in the night sky. The house is perfect for a multigenerational family with separate living spaces and then large communal spaces. Daniel and Raphael are great hosts with connections to drivers and private chefs. To say that this Villa was BELLISSIMO is an understatement! This was an amazing experience. The villa was really great. We felt really at home. Sylvia was so helpful with all our necessary needs. The house had all the things we needed. We just left after a week in Villa Bougainvillea and it could not have been more perfect. Daniela, Raphael, and Silvana were amazing hosts and considered every detail with this house as a rental property. The views, pool, and lounge areas are all incredible and the beds were comfortable. Lovely villa with stunning views of Taormina & the Ionian Sea. Tastefully furnished with all you need for an enjoyable stay! The owners went out of their way to accommodate our family and make us all feel welcome - including answering many questions and providing recommendations to ensure we had an enjoyable stay. The walk up from Taormina is a bit grueling but worth it for the views. Would love to return!

Perfect home for friends

We have just spent the most wonderful holiday in this villa. The owners certainly understand what it means to be a host. Communication before, during and after our stay was perfect: complete but not overly intrusive. The home was clean and elegant. The layout of 4 separate bedrooms and bathrooms gives each room privacy, while the common living areas are conducive to socialising with friends or family. This will forever be remembered by us as a place of joy, beauty and comfort.

Etna erupted whilst we were there!!

A wonderful villa with terraces facing Mt Etna and a lovely pool. 7 of us stayed in this delightful villa in peaceful tranquillity, situated half way between Taormina and Castelmola, incredibly secluded location The house flows down the hill with main accommodation at Ground / entry level. This included 2 bedrooms suites, incredibly well equipped kitchen / triclinium (haha - dining room) , and open lounge, with the 2 terraces. Floor -1 had a further bedroom suite. Floor -2 another bedroom suite. We did not hire a car and relied on hired-in electric bikes, local buses and trains.....that all worked well, especially the E-bikes

Amazing Villa

The Villa was spectacular with an amazing view. Multi- level accommodations which was perfect for our group needs. It was well stocked and we appreciated the welcoming gift and little things like coffee, salt &pepper and other spices. It helps you don’t have to buy all these small items. The big table was great for eating and then games at night. Sitting outside with coffee in the morning and the view❤️👍. The pool was beautiful and clean - so lovely. A 5 start for sure.

Came with 8 adult family members and SOs, had a great time. Property was recently remodeled and is gorgeous with a real local flavor. Clean, elegant and user friendly. Wonderful stay at Villa Bougainvillea

We would highly recommend this beautiful villa in the Castelmola / Taormina area. The house has been recently renovated to a very high standard, and includes four bedrooms with ensuites, several indoor / outdoor lounge and dining spaces, and patio / pool with the most incredible views. We thoroughly enjoyed our days / evenings spent at the villa, lounging by the pool and cooking meals with family in the well-equipped kitchen. We walked down to Taormina several evenings for dinner (with taxi back) - and walked the scenic path to Castelmola one morning. The hosts were excellent with communications - and provided restaurant and other recommendations for the area. Thank you for such a memorable vacation!!
