Upon arrival I could tell this was not going to be the Ritz Carlton but I thought I’d still give it a try. When I checked in I was handed a filthy damaged and taped remote for the tv was told my room was at the street. I opened the door and saw that it looked nothing like the bright clean room on the site. It was dingy and gross. The bed had hair on it and looked nasty. The sofa was stained like someone peed on it. The wall between the beds was damaged and had been repaired and not repainted the gross orange brown of the room. I told the clerk I was not staying. She said she could not refund my payment but offered me a different room which also was not something I wanted to sleep in. I was disappointed because it is in a prime location. I understand that this wasn’t a 5 star resort but I do believe at minimum the room should be clean and the linens should be as well. I tried to get a refund from the site and it was refused by the manager. I ended up having to pay for a second hotel for my stay. Would not recommend.
