Beautiful property but stable rooms are loud

Beautiful estate with a pool to-die-for. Nice breakfast, but no vegan options...I had written the owners with questions ahead of time, but never received a response. And while the stable rooms are large, the walls are paper-thin and you can hear your neighbors (tv, conversations, blowing noses.)

This was our number one!

This is one of the friendliest places we stayed at during our trip around the Western Cape. Wonderful service throughout. Great brai. Excellent breakfasts. Bar service attentive. Lovely pool. Funky chickens. Rooms grear. All round, a wonderful place to stay.

Great shower, good beds, comfy sofa and armchairs in living area, Nespresso machine, TV in living room AND in bedroom. Unfortunately a little neglected (due to Covid?) and rather dirty. But with some clean-ups a lovely place.

Good location on the edge of Paarl though a bit tricky to find. We thought the rooms were a bit more basic than we expected and not changing towels at all during a 3 night stay seemed taking the ecological perspective to extremes. However this is a good base for touring the area or going on some of the organised trips on offer or just crashing out around the pool. The staff are really helpful and friendly. Evening meals can be arranged and are worth it unless you are eating out at one of the top restaurants in the area. Overall a good place to spend some time.

Our favorite in Paarl

This place is a favorite of ours, and we keep on returning. You are well taken care of by the staff and owners, the grounds are very beautiful and the it is a quiet oasis. It is easy to get an uber to explore some of the stunning restaurants and vineyards close by. If you want to stay at the hotel all day, they offer great food as well upon requsest
