Lovely home, great location - never had such a fully equipped kitchen. The Murphy bed room is extremely small but was fine for our 8 & 10 year olds. Will certainly book it again

Perfect home base in Cape Charles
We absolutely loved our stay in Cape Charles. The house was perfect for our family. Especially loved the proximity to stores and the beach - and porch living! We did have a little trouble with the wifi on our last day but just another reason to go to the beach. One thing to keep in mind is that the front bedroom has a few uncovered windows - may not be the best location if you like to sleep in.

Wow! What a property!!!
Beautiful house that was well designed and stocked from the amenities from the awesome backyard with fire pit and gas grill to the kitchen that had new and nice glass wear and cutlery. Sitting on the covered front porch during an evening thunderstorm to relaxing in the spacious living room. This house promoted rest and relaxation.

A+ house and amenities
We loved the house and its well-appointed backyard. There was lots to do in the area and we had a very nice visit. Lots of places were closed mid week at this time of year, but we found a few very good restaurants open.
We had to contact the management company twice to get our check-in info, but they were very responsive after that.

Fantastic house!
We were lucky to be one of the first few renters in this property, and let me tell you - it is incredible!! This is one of the most beautiful, well-decorated, and thoughtfully stocked houses I've ever been in. Seriously, I would like whoever designed this place to come make over my house. The beachy vibe carries perfectly through the whole house with beautiful artwork, comfortable furniture and good lighting. The kitchen has everything you could think of - including melamine/plastic dishes and cups that are perfect for kids - all neatly labelled. The bedrooms have comfortable beds, dark curtains so everyone can sleep late, and plenty of dressers/hooks for storing clothes. The outdoor shower is so fun, and the indoor bathrooms are clean and well-finished. The ONLY thing I could think that they didn't have that would've been helpful is hand soap in the bathrooms, but that was it. They thought of everything else. There are beach towels in the laundry area and also nice quality beach umbrellas and chairs in the storage bin put back. They weren't listed here and rental company didn't know about them so we squeezed our own into the car, but they're there!
The property is right at the edge of town with the best shave ice spot on the next block and fantastic breakfast pastries at Coastal Baking down the street. A few long blocks from the beach, but if you can, rent a golf cart. It is SO worth it!! Book it now, they book up crazy fast.
The ONLY negative we had was that we cancelled another property through the same company to switch to this house and it took them SIX WEEKS and a lot of follow-up to get our money back. That was pretty frustrating, but the actual house was incredible and we loved every minute we spent in it.
