The Courtyard

The room we booked was unacceptable, due to an extremely strong disinfectant odor so we got transferred by a very understanding staff, to The Courtyard (part of the “collection”) nearby which was clean and lovely.

Very good overall experience here! Loved how close it is to walk to beach (& Haystack Rock). It was comfortable & quiet, had a nice little balcony, & was very clean. Liked soothing sound of courtyard fountain from our balcony. Didn’t like lack of counter space in bathroom or the round sink on top of counter. Bed a little too soft for our preferences. Microwave was too low (floor level).

We stayed at The Courtyard about half a block from the main location and it was spectacular. It was 400’ to dinner at the Wayfarer where we sat at a window that was on the beach right next to Haystack Rock. The bed was incredibly comfortable and this would be n excellent location to stay a few days;

Not worth the cost

The accommodation was old and worn. The lighting was very poor; not enough lamps in the main room. The place was right on the main road in town so traffic noise was very loud. The roadside view of the cabin was not the same as the photo shown online, which was probably taken 10 years prior. And the interior of the toom was not the same as we were told we'd be staying in.

Very nice property, clise to beach, ckean, only dissappointment was no breakfast whatsoever. I had stayed here previously and had a great breakfast. Did not communicate this change at all.

$400 for a room that supposedly has an ocean view out of one window in the corner, not even by the bed with windows that don’t even open so you can’t get a breeze in here, besides tiny window on the other side of the room. The walls have marks all over in the front door. Looks like it was in a fire. Paid extra to try to have a Jacuzzi room. Jacuzzi doesn’t even work so it’s just a glorified giant bathtub. That’s the only plus side to this room is the bed is extremely soft and like sleeping on a cloud. Overall, the stay isn’t horrible but for almost $400 a night this is ridiculous.

Overall very pleased with this hotel. A little worn on the edges but clean and comfortable. I wish they had air-conditioning though. Would have made the stay even better. Location is also quite nice with everything within walking distance.
