We had stayed in another unit in the same complex last year so were very excited and knew what we were getting. This one didn’t have the same high quality of finishes (towels, toiletries, kitchen items etc) but the view was beautiful. As people started arriving and settling into their rooms we found garbage in one of the toilets, garbage cans that hadn’t been emptied, dirt and splatters on the walls, dingy looking carpets and dirty sheets. I contacted the owners and the cleaner showed up at 10:30 pm offering to remake the beds. We declined. We were already in process of washing the sheets ourselves and didn’t trust that they would be done properly this time. We did get some money back, but would have rather paid full price and had better quality.
