The Ledges by the Bay property is very clean, and well maintained. The rooms are large, and the beds are comfortable. The continental breakfast is limited to bread items, fruit, coffee, and juice. It does have a lovely view, but not walkable to anything.

This is a property you stay at for the view, and come back because of the kind staff. The room on initial presentation was very nice, however there were remnants of prior guests apparent throughout the space. Not enough to keep us from returning, but a bit more detail in cleaning would go a long way. Breakfast food was average, without protein options, but the view from the breakfast space is incredible. Definitely worth a walk down the well maintained pathway toward the cove as well to truly experience the property. We will definitely consider staying here again during our next trip up, but just have lingering want for the room to be as clean and beautiful as the space where the property resides. The front desk staff was incredibly kind and this is clearly a gem of a property that we hope thrives for many years to come!

First, this is a drop-dead gorgeous location. Our room had a great view of the bay, and one sunrise in particular was spectacularly orange. The hotel was close to multiple restaurants in Rockport and Camden - this trip was a foodie's dream. The room was large and comfortable, and the staff was friendly. Two (very) minor downsides. First, we visited at the end of October, and breakfast ends after Columbus Day. Second, the room did not have a desk, so evening work (and everything else pretty much closes at 5 in late October) was done in a chair or sitting in bed. Fortunately, I didn't have much work to do.

On our 10 day trip around New England this was the best hotel we stayed in. Would highly recommend it to others. The room was wonderful- the view, the fireplace, and two comfortable chairs, and especially appreciated two sinks in and just outside the bathroom- really made a difference when two people are trying to get ready. Awesome room!

I booked two rooms. My friends had a lovely room with a balcony on the water Awesome view I had a room on the road, no windows Manager said take it up with hotels.com He has lots of rooms available Didnt care… this hotel was my trip splurge. Very disappointed
