Heinrich and his wife were great hosts. Beautiful clean apartments close to the Esplanade. We stored our baggage with them when we arrived and before leaving as our flights arrived early and left late. They gave us really great local recommendations for trips and local fresh barramundi. The apartment is gated for extra security and is well stocked with a kitchen, tea, coffee and the essentials. It was a lovely week in Cairns.

Property is within walking distance of CBD and esplanade. Apartment was comfortable and had all amenities and appliances we needed. Only small things were that the curtains in bedrooms are not blockout, and light comes in as soon as sun is up, and in general the apartment is getting quite tired and needs a facelift (new shower head, noisy front door, replace silicone, chipped tiles etc).

We had a perfect stay at Citysider Holiday Apartments! The apartments were very spacious and ideal for our family with small children. Everything was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. While the location isn’t the most central, everything is still within walking distance if you don’t mind a bit of a walk. A special thanks to Manager Heinrich – he was incredibly helpful and friendly, truly going above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Highly recommended!

We had a good stay here, was only a 1k walk to the Esplanade, shops were also close by. Fairly clean in the unit, did find some things left by previous guests. If offering a clean/sheet change after a 7 day stay, perhaps this could be done in the middle of the stay, as we had 8 nights and it didn't happen.

Good value for money!

We had a very comfortable apartment, albeit a bit dated but perfectly functional. The saltwater pool is a gem and the garden areas beautifully landscaped. It was a little out of the centre of Cairns and with no nearby public transport that could be a problem for some.

Good few days stay!

Citysider was very good, apt clean, everything you could need, couple running it helpful and pleasant. Was a steady knocking sound in our bedroom all night! No idea what it was! Forgot to mention it!!

The Customer service was great, very polite and kind, however, I arrived late on night 1, I established my fridge didn’t work, I informed reception. They got someone out (apparently) but it was never fixed. This for me was just disappointing as I select apartments with full kitchens for a reason. Not having a fridge for 4 days very very inconvenient, no compensation offered.
