Cabin and amenities nothing like advertised - no divan - cabin extremely old and in poor repair - timber framed external door jammed - bed linen marked - a.c. old and noisy. No defined parking area - told by (male) reception staff to park on (park) road. Exit boom gate (early morning) did not open (faulty) when I attempted to leave - this could have had a serious impact on my travel plans Cabin and stay totally unsatisfactory. Will not recommend Sunland Leisure Park to anyone.

The rooms were spacious and comfortable. Parking was at the door to our villa, important for two older ladies with mobility issues. We had two bedrooms, the second containing a double with single bunk bed above. Don't be fooled by the poor photo on many booking sites, the room was comfortable and way above my expectations. The location was sufficiently private and quiet. I will be saving this location as my preferred booking for Cairns visits.

Was a pleasant stay,for the price it's very comfortable accommodation.the cabins are kept nice and clean and staff are friendly. Distance from CBD is 20 min away by car. There is a bus stop located across from the park that can take you to CBD. Not much not to like, pleasant place to stay!

Reading the terrible reviews after booking I was ready to go to plan B but I when booked in and went to the cabin I was surprised to see a clean well maintained area. A bit noisy early in the morning and a bit of a walk to external facilities but BOY what a surprise was in store at the local tavern, I would have to say the best pub grub I have had in a very long time
