We had a great experience here. Checked into a room which had lot of sand in it. Reported it and got switched to another cleaner room. Staff were excellent and very helpful but felt at times there were not enough staff at the front desk. It got crowded quickly at times and had to wait 10-15 mins to get serviced. Breakfast was exceptionally good. It was a feast.

From first arrival we had nothing but issues. We had organised 2 months ahead of time that we needed adjoining rooms, told via email that our booking was amended and it wasn’t. Female front desk worker was not friendly or helpful. First night we had seperate rooms which caused issues with children, had to sleep on very hard rollaway bed so they were not in different rooms. Manager George was great and did manage to organise us adjoining rooms for the remaining 2 nights, however we never got the twin beds booked we only got king beds. Once we arrived in new room the cleaning staff barged in without knocking as we were getting dressed, very unprofessional. Lift also broke down, I’m in a moon boot and had to go down 4 flights stairs carrying a suitcase. Power went out on one occasion but was restored quickly. Pool area is great however no policing of the sun loungers and people reserving multiple even for children who are swimming in the pool, which is really not fair. Food was also mediocre considering the price. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone

Great hotel for young families in Cairns. Close enough to talk to town and to Muddy’s playground, right next door to the aquarium. Fantastic pool which my kids loved and so nice to have some activities during the day and night for the kids/family. Food service is a bit slow at the restaurant but otherwise breakfast is great. Will definitely be staying again when we next go to Cairns.

The property was nice enough but perhaps not as luxurious as I was hoping for the 4 star rating and price tag. The pool and swim up bar are a great feature and food was good, though gluten free food not labeled on the menu.
