This house was amazing. It had everything we could need and want plus more! There was plenty of entertainment for kids ages 8-adult. We had teens and smalls and everyone had things to do. The house was clean and stocked with anything imaginable.

Excellent view of river

Everything as if you were at home. Had all plates,pans, silverware, and more. Plenty of board games and othet things to keep busy if your not outside. Have shuffleboard and pingpong table. We had plenty of firewood provided for us during our week stay.

Enjoyable even in the rain

Our family stayed during “generational” flooding rain storms. But we still had a good time cooking together in the well equipped kitchen, having shuffleboard tournaments in the basement and spending time in front of the fireplace.

Early Family Christmas Celebration

Our stay was wonderful! We were meeting our adult children and their pups to celebrate an early Christmas. The house was perfect with plenty of room. The main living area with the fireplace was nice in the evenings. The large dining table and fully stocked kitchen was wonderful for our Christmas Dinner! The table was also wonderful for fame nights! We had so much fun making use of the basement …lots of fun and laughs ! I can’t thank you enough for putting up a small tree and the decorations you put out for Christmas! We will definitely book again, but next time with warmer temps to enjoy the balcony and river! Even on those chilly morning it was beautiful to just look out at the river! Thank you for such a wonderful place !

House is amazing and clean!!Right on the river with jumping trout! Kitchen is very well stocked!! Hosts are super responsive to any questions. Would highly recommend this property!!!!!!!

So peaceful and everything you need

My husband and I stayed here for his birthday. The quiet location, tranquility of the flowing river, the fully stocked kitchen, screened porches and all of the games made this an outstanding stay. We certainly plan to be back.

Perfect House & Property!

The communication with the host couldn’t have been better. Very quick response to questions & concerns. The house was wonderful. Clean, stocked with everything you could possibly want, plenty of room for our group of 4 adults and 2 large dogs. Would love to rebook and go back

WOW!

We enjoyed the house and accomodations very much! The house sits right above the Cumberland River and hearing the water close by was amazing. Everything I hoped for….

The cabin was amazing, right on the river, lots of space and privacy. The kitchen was so well stocked! I’m so used to bringing my entire kitchen with me (I love to cook), not necessary here! It was clean, lots to do, games galore - the game room downstairs and corn hole was time well spent. We had several days on the river, a couple at Dale Hallow, and a day at Southern KY Distillery. Book Mammoth Cave in advance if that’s something you want to do. We wanted to go, but there was only one ticket by the time we tried to book. Highly recommend this cabin, and the owners were wonderful and responsive — 5/5!!

Trout house is amazing!!

Had the best stay. House had everything you could think of. The river was chilly, but on those hot days, it was great. Dale hollow lake close. Would definitely be going back! Only suggestion, consider adding some stepping stones that lead from the stairs to the basement. Rocks aren't fun on the bare feet.

Perfect place to recharge and reset

My daughters and I had the best time while staying here. The cabin is very close to several marinas and is FULL of games. I have a teenager and a seven year old and both had a blast enjoying the games that came with the cabin. Pictures don’t do the cabin justice.

Fabulous!

This is an amazing home with loads of outside space. The house is very well equipped with anything you might need. Very kid and dog friendly. The hosts were extremely responsive. The only issue we had was very high water making it difficult to launch our boat on the lake. We ended up at the state park marina, which ended up being a great experience. We highly recommend Mikes at Sulphur Creek Marina!

Outstanding

Property is just like the pictures show. Beautiful house on the Cumberland River. Beds so comfortable, everything was clean and comfortable. We had 4 adults and our little dog. Felt just like home. So much room and the basement with the ping pong table, darts and shuffle board was great for evenings after dinner. We would definitely rent this property again. No need to keep searching! Perfect property & location

A true gem & perfect house for a long-weekend get-away. The photos do not do this home justice. Home has all the amenities you could think of and more! Cozy and modern!! The location is serene yet also close to the lake for boating activities. The host was very responsive to any questions we had. Highly recommend this property!!!!
