The staff was very friendly. Understand that this is a conversion of a motel that surely saw many years of use, but everything was clean and comfortable. The bed and surrounding area were nicely updated. The bathroom had older tile and a pretty rough shower pan, but the cleanliness made it fine for an overnight. We did not have our dog with us, but everyone we saw had their dog with them, so be prepared for a lot of dogs around. Parking was great and the location was great as well. We elected to have breakfast elsewhere rather than partake of the included continental breakfast.

Located out on the main Hwy 50, but still an easy drive to downtown & along the river. Many restaurant options of all sorts, within reach quickly. Very very clean room, and our "King Suite" was spacious + comfortable. The bed was very good. Also enjoyed the hot tub in each of our two nights. Hope to return.

The rooms were excellent, clean and updated. It’s a bit away from downtown but easily drivable in just a couple minutes. The people at the desk and running the place were amazing and kind and helpful. The hot tub was great. Loved it.

This is an awesome 'motel' that has been rehabbed. Our room was perfect and balanced the old school feel (cool retro tile in the shower) in a totally redone room. It was spacious, bed was comfy, had a small fridge , microwave and Keurig. Breakfast was a 'continental plus' with eggs, sausage, B&G, Eggo type waffles and a pancake machine. Lots of other typical breakfast choices as well. We were very happy to discover this hidden gem in Salida!!

This place is a step back in time, vintage, cute,charming. The owners take a lot of pride in this property and have updated and keep the property up very very well on the outside and inside.The door locks are very secure and a nice touch entry instead of a key card. It was a great price. Pleasantly surprised about that. Got more than we paid for. I feel like on top of that, breakfast was free and very yummy! Highly highly recommend.
