The moxy exceeded my expectations. Very new and clean hotel. In the center of every thing. So glad I chose this hotel. I would 100% stay here again when I come back to Budapest. You can’t go wrong with this hotel.

2/10 Terrible

Disliked: Amenities
I regret choosing this hotel for our 6-night stay. Although it is relatively new and has a great location, they clearly cut corners on space, comfort and amenities. Rooms are extremely small, bathrooms tiny, there is no closet, no in-room safe, no phone, and the AC did not cool properly. Amenities are limited to shampoo, conditioner and soap. The hotel was undergoing renovation during our stay. We found a note in our room apologizing for the constant noise and inconvenience. Guests should be clearly informed before booking, so they can make an informed decision. Our first morning, the fire alarm went off extremely loudly, waking the entire hotel. We were initially told a guest had smoked, but later learned the smoke came from welding work related to the renovation. After that, every night was exhausting and we could barely sleep. Construction, housekeeping, thin walls and extremely loud doors made it impossible to rest. One day our room was not cleaned despite leaving the housekeeping sign. We were told there was no staff available until the next morning. After complaining, we were moved to another room, but it faced a bar with loud music and shouting. The only compensation was two drinks. Breakfast was extremely basic for the price. The only positive is the location. Otherwise, I would definitely not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Very clean new property great bed very efficient. No fridge in the room or coffee maker. Fantastic breakfast buffet. Also no phone in the room. Lighting was a little modern and difficult to understand. Highly recommend upscale maybe not so good for families with small children.
