Very spacious with high ceilings and large floor to ceiling windows. fully renovated 4 bedroom flat with 4 en suite bathrooms. Flat has a large living room open plan kitchen. Flat is centrally located next to the Novotel Hotel at Blaha Lujza square . All touristic sites are within walking distance. Flat benefits from being on a very quiet central street. Air conditioning is available in all the bedrooms plus living room.

The flat was very clean and had adequate bedrooms and bathrooms. The WiFi was intermittent at best. Our VRBO contacts were VERY GOOD about keeping in contact with us when we had a problem, and it did get resolved after a couple days. We also needed more kitchen and bath towels.(We stayed 5 days with 7 guests and had do go to Bubbles to do laundry) Only one kitchen towel was provided. The toilet paper rolls were only partially full when we arrived without extras, maybe this is something the cleaning staff needs to resolve. Overall I would stay there again.

We had a great time.............

Marietta's property was perfect for our group of 6 adults for a week in Budapest. The location is fantastic - we walked almost everywhere we wanted to go as the river was about 1.8 miles, the Jewish quarter about a mile, The Terror House about 1.1 miles etc. There are 2 good grocery stores about 3-4 blocks away and several restaurants that were worth eating at also within a few blocks. It was quite easy to get a taxi or the use the public bus as well since there is a main street 2 blocks away. The apartment itself is very spacious with high ceilings, big windows, lots of light - and 4 en suite bathrooms are a gift from the vacation Gods! There was plenty of hot water - we never had a problem with multiple showers. There is a nice terrace outside the front door overlooking the building's inner courtyard which we used to sit out and enjoy coffee in the fresh air. And as close as we were to the main street it was very quiet - all day and all night. The air conditioning was more than adequate when we needed it. The only observation I can make is that the living area was a little tight when all 6 of us were hanging out - which wasn't very much since we were always out and about. Another arm chair or 2 would make that space work better for 6 people - but it wasn't a problem for us. Also be aware that the TV is for streaming only and we did not come prepared with the right stuff to use it. It was not a problem either because we were fascinated with Budapest and weren't there to watch TV. Marietta is a terrific hostess. She provided excellent instructions for the check-in and responded right away to a few requests we made. The communication was easy and we could reach her husband by phone - although we did not need to. We were allowed to leave our luggage at the flat on the last day as we didn't have flights out until later in the afternoon which we really appreciated. Overall we had a wonderful experience at Marietta's flat and can highly recommend it to other travelers.
