Overall the cabin was beautiful but there were some things that weren’t as clean as they should be. They also gave poor check in instructions. Went to the address on our booking info and it wasn’t were you need to check in.

The photo was not where we stayed.

The photo of the stay is not where you stay!! They do not tell you that. Each unit is owned by different people so conditions vary. Even though we booked thru Hotels.com, the 1000 Hills property management handles the booking. It was NOT a one bedroom. It is a Studio meaning that the bed, tub and kitchen are all one room. The photos are taken as to imply it was a separate bedroom. There is only 1 parking spot for this unit, which was taken twice by someone else as they are not marked. This must be a real problem during peak season. This unit had very few dishes, pans, etc. The gas fireplace smelled like it had a leak, we reported it. The carpeting had stains all over & chipped wall paint. We reported that and 1000 hills rep said these things are up to the owner to take care of. Not their responsibility! Might be better to pay more at Big Cedar Lodge. The only positive was the location was central near many attractions.

We arrived to the Clubhouse by Uber and were informed from the Club House check in staff that we needed to WALK to our Cabin- approx 1.5 miles, in the dark, in the street, and with our bags. No one at the hotel offered to shuttle us to the cabin. It would be helpful for customers to know this ahead of time so that the Uber driver can wait. We had NO idea, nor was there any information given to us, that a long hilly walk would be necessary to reach our cabin. Needless to say, my husband was not happy.

Good but needs a little TLC

We love the cabins at Grand Mountain. The condition of the cabin was a little less than what we have come to expect though. The back door would not lock, the front door deadbolt did not work either. The commode valve has a tendency to stick open, and the carpet was torn. Other than those small issues, we enjoyed our stay.

I didn’t receive clear instructions about where to check in, the office where you’re supposed to check in is quite far from the cabins.

I've stayed at Big Cedar Lodge and these cabins are equally nice, but a fraction of the cost. I like the fact that they are located near all the attractions and shopping. They are very clean, very well decorated and a very quiet atmosphere. My family will definitely be coming back.

Great location! Very close to major attractions in Branson, yet still has the "secluded" feel. I was very impressed with the communication from the property. We had all the information we needed and it was delivered in perfect time. Unit was very clean and had festive decor including a Christmas tree. The only constructive feedback that I have is in regards to the parking situation. There was not enough parking to accommodate multiple cars for each unit. We had one half of a cabin and ours was a 3BR unit. I'm assuming the other side was 3BR as well. There were 2 parking spots at our cabin. Total. Luckily, we were able to get the spots we needed but others at our cabin had to find parking elsewhere and walk.

Love the cabins

This is my third cabin to stay in. They are very continently located and quiet. This cabin was beautiful, but it did have a few rotted spots in the floor and wasp kept coming in and crawling on the floor which is an obvious hazard. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay.

We didn't get the same cabin that was in the reservation which was a little disappointing since it was further from the outlet mall and not as easy to walk to it because of hills. Also the parking situation was different and we struggled navigating around a car that was parked blocking the only access to the walkway...see picture attached. We couldn't roll our luggage and had to step in rocks every time we left. Access to the walkway should not be able to be blocked by parking. The cabin was clean and exactly like the pictures. We loved the layout and it was plenty big enough for the 3 of us. The first floor bedroom was very cold and never seemed to warm up even when we left the door open to get heat from the kitchen which was warm. There was only one thin blanket in the cabin to use so we ended up going to Walmart and buying blankets the first night. The internet was down the morning we left. Overall our stay was just okay.
