I have used the MicroTel facilities since 2007 and they still are a go-to. Bozeman was the exception. Check-in service was almost surly. When I got to my room, there was no TV remote or desk lamp. Talking to the front desk went nowhere so I worked by the light of my laptop monitor. The next morning, I tried again to get a TV remote. The desk clerk seemed to be about 15 years old and frankly seemed a little frightened. Her response was "the manager will be here shortly." I'm 80 years old and very soft-spoken, so I am pretty sure it was not I that upset her. As I said, this was an exception, and I will book Microtel properties when they are the right choice. This experience was so off-the-wall bad, I had to comment. Thanks!
