This is a really nice place in a great location. The owners were very helpful in giving us info as to what was going on locally. The suite is very comfortable. Very tastefully furnished. Would definitely go back. The area is convenient to nearby towns of interest as well as shopping for whatever you might need.

This is a very nice space that is comfortable and well equipped. The property grounds were peaceful and the hosts were very gracious. I asked about early arrival and was sent a text as soon as the apartment was available. I would definitely stay here again.

Brian and Luana have created an absolutely charming oasis on their property in Maine. The grounds are stunning, and the accommodations themselves are lovely. Brian has handmade all the furniture, and Luana’s styling and decorating are perfect. Their cute dog Oscar was the cherry on top! We thoroughly enjoyed and look forward to staying there again in the future!

This is a special place. Beautiful gardens, fruit trees, ponds set back from the road enough to offer peace and quiet. Luana and Brian (and their dog Oscar) were gracious and kind hosts. We enjoyed everything about our stay at their lovely home.

This is an absolutely beautiful place to stay. Quiet and tranquil with flowers and birds everywhere. It was a great jumping off place for other activities in the area and a quiet retreat after a busy day. The owners are very hospitable and welcoming.

Perfect Break From Insanity

This was such a good stay. My nine year old and I came up to Maine for a guy’s fishing trip. We caught a ton of fish and had a great time and enjoyed some down time out of the sun in wonderfully cool twin ponds. We got some good hiking and great miniature golf in as well. Sunset every night provided some fun fishing right at twin ponds. And Oscar was the perfect host! Oh, Brian and Luana were really nice and welcoming too! Seriously looking forward to the next trip to Twin Ponds.

The accommodations at Twin Ponds were great. We were very comfortable and felt very much at home. Unfortunately, it rained most of the time, so we didn't get to enjoy the beautiful grounds. The hosts were very friendly and made sure we had everything that we needed. Oscar was very friendly too! The location was very convenient to our relatives and places we wanted to visit. We'd definitely return in the future!

Rental exactly as represented in listing. Unit was private, homey and cozy in a serenely lush setting with birds at the feeder visible while sitting in bed. Luana obviously put a lot of thought into providing the necessities that may be needed during a stay. Beds were comfy.Location had easy access to the more major roads to local attractions.Brian and Luana are kind and gracious hosts. Our plane was early and we were able to check in early. Luana was there to greet us and provide a brief orientation. Brian texted suggestions of places to go. If encountered on the grounds, they were up for a chat. Interesting people clearly enjoying what they do.Adding a fun note was Oscar, their supremely affable golden retriever, calmly friendly, enjoying some attention then on his way to enjoy his doggie paradise.

Lovely Cottage Suite in Maine

Twin Ponds is a lovely location on a beautiful pond setting. Lovely landscaping and plantings with a walking path around the pond. We totally enjoyed our stay here. The suite is like a small cottage, wonderfully appointed and immaculate. Everything you could possibly need including freshly ground delicious coffee. A well- equipped and charming suite. This was a very special stay for us and hope to return one day. Brian and Luana are such gracious and friendly hosts. Thank you so much Brian and Luana—it was so nice to meet you and thank you on my behalf and my family!

Oscar is the best host

Great spot. Oscar really is the best host, loves to say hi when he sees you. Bed was comfy. Good base to explore all of Maine. Only trouble is being a big guy in the smaller shower.

Wonderful Area

WE picked the time (early October) to see the foliage and visit a friend. We spent several days seeing the sights: maritime museum, botanical gardens, etc. and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The Smiths were excellent hosts and were very knowledgeable about the surrounding area.
