The room and property were neat and clean. It was a slow time of year. The room was well organized and updated decor wise. The mattresses could use and upgrade as they were not the most comfortable. The breakfast was basic but fine. I would recommend offering some juices.

The beds were incredibly uncomfortable & the staff was inattentive and disinterested in solving a problem with the TV that we had. I love Boothbay Harbor & visit frequently...now we may just be making day trips, because this is one of the only places to stay in town! Definitely not worth the price per night...

Do not stay on the bottom floor. They put wood floors in all the rooms, which makes the floor above you very loud with people walking.

Check in was less than satisfactory. I was texted no less than five times to ask about check in and what time I'd be there. Then was advised office hours were limited. I saw nothing during booking that would have made me consider this. I found out the office was only open until 8:30pm. Then the man called me to push me into cutting my evening plans short so he could close the office and go home. Everyone else had checked in, so he was ready to leave. Mind you, I'm on vacation. I'm traveling. I have tickets to a show in town at a specific time. Sorry for the inconvenience.

heat not on in room when we arrived. heater was so loud we had to turn it off to sleep. November 20th in Maine! "breakfast" was a joke.

the heat was off when we entered the room. It was 36 degrees. The heater was unbelievely loud making it almost impossible to sleep. The bathroom door,s top hinge was very loose so the door would not close. Perhaps if the restaurant was open (closed for season but not stated and charged $2 for Breakfast) breakfast would have been different. It was a tiny nook with 3 metal chairs and a small metal table. Small selection with nothing I wanted to eat. Room was okay. Of the many hotels we have stayed at, this is the only poor review I have ever given.

The room was clean, staff was friendly, and was a good deal for the money. Although the room seemed updated with relatively fresh paint and looked nice, there were a few things that could be improved upon: - It looks like the light above the sink was recently replaced. However, the was was new refinished around the light, which had a smaller footprint. - There are several cracks between the ceiling and the wall. - The bureau has peeling laminate on the front edge. - The HVAC was LOUD, to the pont where we had to turn it off. Fortunately, the room stayed warm enough for sleeping purposes. - At around 4 AM we started hearing mechanical noises, like sneakers being tossed around in a clothes dryer. I'm not sure what was below is or where the noise was coming from, but it made it difficult to get back to sleep. Most of these issues were not a big deal, but just makes it seem like someone isn't keeping up with the maintenance like they should. I did not try the included breakfast. For the money and a decent location, it wasn't bad and not bad for a night.

I would give this 5 stars, but... The good: very pet friendly. The rooms are well suited for pets, and BONUS: there's an amazing pretty park literally right next door over a pretty wood bridge - there are loops from 1/2 to 2 miles. Bed was comfy. There were ample outlets, lots of bedside lights. Towels were very nice, water was very warm. Staff were very friendly. The cute as can be fridge and microwave were great - and it had a real live separate freezer on the fridge! 10 + brownie points! The problems: The heater was either FULL BLAST making the place a furnace in 10 minutes, or OFF. That was it. So we were up a number of times at night to turn it on for a bit (were there end of October). Also - TV had no remote (!!). There was one for the cable, but not for the TV so couldn't control volume or channels (looked it up - that TV only as an ON and OFF button). We wanted to watch the Dodgers / Jays game and has to use our phone. Boo. Overall very good value given other local choices are gouging the living heck out of travelers. Thanks for being there Flagship!

OK ROOM. Not a lot of attention to detail. (eg= towel racks replaced, w old holes where it used to be attached unfilled or painted. Clean and quiet - except for the morning where some putz was using chainsaw! Not overly warm or friendly manager but competent - does not think outside the box very well. So as long as you are not asking for any flexibility (eg late check out), you'll be fine. Grocery store and gas across the highway and some rooms quite quiet. I was in Booth Harbor late Oct,0- most stores closed, or early close. 1 mi. walk to the Harbor. IF you want to stay on the water, look at The Tugboat Inn IF worth 40--50 more per day. But this place is adequate if you want to save $.

I liked the friendly staff during check in. The room was not exactly what I expected, it seemed like a motel. Bed was not very comfortable and almost every plug was broken
