Fantastic property and very attentive management team. Perfect location for a group of friends or large family gathering. Excellent value as well. I’ve stayed here twice now and will definitely be back!

The most memorable place we’ll ever have privilege of staying!

There are no words to describe the memories and magical moments we had at the Legacy Lookout. From the second we stepped foot in this home we knew core memories would be made. The most beautiful, clean, luxurious home. We can only pray we will get the privilege of staying here in the future. So thankful!

Most amazing stay in SC

Absolutely beautiful

Love the property the beautiful view the Dolphins easy access to shopping. The fishing dock, canoe rides. Legacy look out is a amazing place.

Family Reunion 2024

Our family had a wonderful time for our annual family reunion. The hosts were fantastic and easy to communicate with. Whether lounging around the house, doing yoga on the dock, or swimming in the bay, this home provided a great space for our family to get together and make lifelong memories.

Fabulous home

We rented the house for my daughters wedding weekend and held the rehearsal dinner at the property. The wedding party stayed at the house and everything was amazing.

Johnson family vacation 2023

This is one of the most amazing places we have been and stayed. The house is AWESOME and the owners are so easy to work with and very accessible during the stay. There is so much to do and the view is so relaxing. I highly recommend this to everyone. It is so roomy, you aren't crowded at all.

Family Vacation

We absolutely enjoyed our stay! The house was beautiful and very clean. The views from the dock in the back are breathtaking, and we loved the wraparound back porch with the rocking chairs. A very relaxing experience and 30 minutes from the beach. We would definitely consider coming back here again! Property management great to work with if you need anything. I highly recommend for family reunions!

Perfect Family Reunion Spot!

Words can’t describe how special this property really is. The low country architecture feeds seamlessly into the marsh and riverfront view. The accommodations are simply first-class, with all of the high-end amenities and decor one would expect, plus so much more! Want to fish? Kayak!? Rock on the porch? Host guests for dinner? Everything you need is here.

All as described and THEN some!

What a fantastic property! Perfectly tucked away in your own private waterfront oasis. We spent most nights watching the sunsets from the boathouse (HOW COOL IS THE BOATHOUSE??). The house is a perfect getaway from the daily hustle and bustle. We've already booked our next two stays :)

Breathtaking Home!

Wow! This property is amazing and has everything you could possibly need. This was the perfect getaway and everyone in my group was extremely impressed with the property architecture/detail, the property grounds and the ease of booking/staying. This was a first class experience in every possible way. I cannot wait to return!

Amazing Stay!

This was the perfect stay! It was a beautiful house, and the location was perfect! We were able to zip right into town and the beach. Great amenities, and very helpful ideas in their binder for things to do around the area. I especially loved the dock and dock-house. Perfect for catching the sunrise and sunsets, and such a unique fun hangout area. We were even able to see dolphins swimming in the water, which made us feel like we were in the Bahamas. Would definitely come back! Thank you!

Wedding

We stayed at legacy lookout for our daughter’s wedding. It was such a memorable time! We cooked, kayaked, fished, and enjoyed each others company. The house is so grand and roomy!! There was plenty of space for the 15 of us. It’s absolutely beautiful and comfortable too.

Peaceful Relaxing Environs

Our family gathering of ~17 with varying ages from old to young enjoyed coming together at this fabulous home in a beautiful setting. The home has all the accommodations needed for a large group and the staff immediately responded to any needs or questions. The property itself enveloped us in nature and everyone enjoyed sitting quietly in rocking chairs or paddling in kayaks. Excellent and highly recommended.

Perfect Waterside Getaway

My friends and family went to this spectacular property for a week and loved it. Check-in was smooth, the house was clean, and there was plenty of room for all of us. The kids loved playing in the water and jumping off the dock. There was so much to do both on property and nearby towns that we could have stayed longer. It is better than the beach because there are no crowds. We just checked out for a while and enjoyed ourselves. We will definitely be back. I am thinking about renting this for a company trip

Perfect Home for Annual Girls Trip

The house was perfect for our group of 14. We ranged in age from 53 -75 so the elevator and large accessible rooms were appreciated. The porch and large living area were great for us to gather and relax. The office space was quiet and offered comfortable space for those that had to work some during the week. Beds were comfortable. Rocking chairs were wonderful and a great place to enjoy the breeze on the deck. We were please to see dolphins a couple of times near the pier. We did not use the 4th floor loft area because it only contained futon type beds. Are only complaint was the house is not actually in Hilton Head like we thought. That said, everything - shopping, grocery, etc. - was within a 20-30 min drive. Owner communicated well and was responsive to our questions. We highly recommend the home to other groups.

Beautiful Low County Luxury Home

We absolutely loved this South Carolina Low Country home. The views were gorgeous and home is 5 stars. Stand up paddle boards, sea kayaks, and boat house were our favorite. We had 10 adults in our family and were well spread out with plenty of room. Matt the maintenance guy took care of a couple minor issues promptly (arriving by boat). The property view of the river/ Port Royal Sound gave us the best photos. Also loved the main kitchen and wrap around outdoor porch.
