We had a lovely stay here but it’s bit small for two families (total of 6 people, including 2 children). There wasn’t any shelves or wardrobes to put our clothes so we had to keep them in the living room in our suitcases as the bedrooms could only fit the bed. Also the AC is only in the living space, not the bedrooms so it got hot in our rooms at night.The house is on a quiet street close to the beach and newly renovated. We had a nice stay but it would have been nice to know the two points I mentioned above.

Lovely break!

Property was exactly how it was promoted! Clean, accessible & airy; our host Jennifer was simply fantastic. She checked in with us (virtually) to ensure our stay was going smoothly. We made some beautiful family memories (with 3 generations in attendance!) & will definitely keep in touch with Jennifer, to make future family memories!

Great stay in Bayfield

Loved our visit to Bayfield. Accommodations were lovely and the town was so fun to explore. Communication with Jennifer was great and she checked-in regularly to see how we were doing, offer suggestions for restaurants, etc. We would stay here again.

Cute as a button

This cottage is styled so beautifully - with calming neutral tones & vintage finds. The stone fireplace was nice to have (and pretty to look at) on the chilly nights. It's a very comfortable space to be in! The covered side porch is a nice extension to the living space in warmer weather & a great spot to watch the sunrise over the back field. The front porch is a nice spot to catch the breeze and a wee peek at the lake. Beach access is a short walk away & there are lots of low traffic roads to walk or ride a bike on - you could go all the way into Bayfield if you wanted to.

Quiet, peaceful and great location.

Very well decorated. Bedrooms are rather small. Lots of outdoor seating spaces. Very peaceful and quiet there and close to downtown Bayfield shopping areas.

A WAVE FROM IT ALL

A lovely little cottage with a delightful extended porch for family fun time. BBQ helps complete the experience. Wonderful comfortable beds, linens and furniture. Definitely worth the drive!

Family Memories

A Wave From It All was a nice, clean and well appointed spot to make Summer family memories. Jennifer made everything easy and was great at communicating with us throughout and checked in regularly. We really appreciated the pet friendly vibe of the cottage and local beach. The cottage is well appointed with almost everything you could need. Air conditioning would make this place perfect and allow guests to sleep with the windows closed on nights and mornings when the neighbour has their outdoor radio on. Thank you for a lovely getaway and all of the personal touches.

Lovely New Cottage in Bayfield

We loved the neutral decor! The kitchen was wonderful and well equipped for preparing meals. The sunporch was perfect for lazy afternoons and watching the rain in the evening.

Beautiful stay

This was a lovely vacation home on a quiet street. We really enjoyed the area. Bayfield is a quaint little town and it is close enough for day trips to Goderich and Grand Bend. The cottage had a great vibe and was decorated beautifully. We really enjoyed the covered side porch. It was a great place to play cards or read a book.

Wonderful Get Away!

I went away for a few days with friends and my sister. The cottage was beautiful! Well equipped, nicely decorated. Due to bad weather we couldn’t sit out side but the view from the back deck was so pretty. We will be back.

Relaxing fall getaway

We really enjoyed our time at A Wave From It All. They really provided absolutely everything we needed (all we had to bring was food) and were quick to respond when we couldn't find something. The property was lovely, comfortable, very clean and even nicer than described. The enclosed side patio was perfect for enjoying warm fall days. We (and our pups) also enjoyed exploring the big yard and the nearby beach.
