Our family met from 3 different states for a week of fun and relaxation. We loved the cabin and the downstairs bedroom and bunk beds was perfect for my brother’s family including kids. The view is amazing and well worth the 10 minute ride off the main road. The fireplace on the balcony definitely got its use during our stay! We were fortunate to be there during a full moon.

Gorgeous place even better view

Amazing stay. Place was beautifully set on the top of the mountains. Easy parking and turn around. Great long range mountain views in a secluded area. All ammenaties were provided. Host was fantastic and responded to any questions/ concerns promptly. Recommend to anyone or family looking for a relaxing time.

Renters Beware

Prior to checking out, I sent a note to the property manager to let them know we did not use the hot tub per check out instructions. Also left a note that read the same thing so the hot tub did not have to be drained/cleaned. We had enjoyed our stay even though the outside deck areas were not clean and the kitchen faucet needed repair. After check-out. I was charged $250 for "missing towels" and "damaged sheets". When we arrived, there were no towels in the downstairs bathroom, we used other towels in the house. ALL were left on the floor per check-out instructions. We did not remove any towels from the property. Only 2 of the 3 beds were used. My wife and I in one and our two sons slept together in another. There was no damage to any sheets. Either the "cleaning crew" or the property manager has integrity issues since I have stayed in many VRBOs over the years with only 5 star ratings for me as the traveler. The allegations of missing towels and damaged sheets to charge me additional fees are ludicrous and fabricated. We take care of property as if it is our own. Rather than contacting me to allow my side, I just noticed a charge of $250 and had to contact the property manager to find out why. Now that I think about it, there were two different codes that I was given for the deadbolt on the front door, lots of hornets outside and the area rugs were curled up and needed to be replaced. Just not a good experience with this property.

Amazing

We as a family visit the mountains every year. This is by far our favorite place to stay before our checkout we were already booking again for next time. We will be making this our family yearly destination. The views were amazing, the house was spectacular and we all had so much fun.

Beautiful!!

We had the best time at this house! Steep hill, but once you’re there the view is spectacular!!! Everything is styled beautifully and the layout is perfect. Hope to come back again one day!

Nice Place!!

HI, this place was well in order. For my Family's short stay, we had everything we needed. Place was roomy with Gameroom for my sons. Road is narrow but paved. Nothing to complain about and would stay again.

Best memorable vacation

We went to the cabin for winter break with our family grandparents, grandkids kids there was a total of six adults and five children. There was plenty of room. They had everything there everything down to dishwashing detergent, laundry detergent, sponges, cleaning, stuff, towels, washing machine pots and pans you name it. It was there. It was such a pleasurable experience. I wish we could live there forever. Definitely somewhere to take your family for sure. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. The kids all said this was the best vacation they’ve ever had.

Beautiful cabin to enjoy with family.

We enjoyed this cabin very much. It was plenty big for the 4 of us with lots of outdoor deck sspace to enjoy also. Loved the little boxes in each bathroom & kitchen with soaps, shampoo, laundry & dish detergent, so nice to have those. Loved having a Keurig also, even provided a few pods to use. Everything was beautiful and clean. Lots of amenities to make it feel just like home. Only recommendation would be to add an additional outdoor trashcan as there was only one & it wasn't that big. There was also trash in it when we arrived, so we had to carry home some of our trash because there was no room. Other than that, it was perfect. Next time I'd find someone to deliver a load of wood so we could have enjoyed all the fireplaces. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us for the weekend.

Amazing Views

Home was beautiful and the views were amazing. Beds were comfy! We loved the outdoor space and kitchen area. It was perfect for our girls getaway! (The roads leading up to the house are not for the faint of heart, but they are paved all the way up the mountain).

Beautiful Views

We were surprised that the road/drive up to the home was so narrow and curvy but it is all paved. The drive was worth it! The view of the mountains from the upper deck is beautiful! The living room and kitchen are smaller than they appear on the listing photos but the bedrooms were roomy and the beds very comfortable. The kitchen amenities made preparing meals enjoyable. We also appreciated having a large garage for our cars. The home is very close to downtown Blue Ridge so driving into town for shopping and dinner was convenient. The Host was also prompt at responding to our questions.

Beautiful Property, but unkept

The basic cleaning was done at this place but it hasn’t been deep cleaned in awhile, cobwebs on almost every beam. Several broken lights, most of the window sills inside are covered in dirt and dead bugs, the smoke alarm in the main room was just missing. The decks are beautiful but dirty. The railings are covered in spider/cobwebs, it’s clear they are only doing basic cleaning and letting the rest go. Internet is spotty at best. Host was very responsive but I would not book again because of cleanliness.

Summer on the lake

Lovely Cabin

My family and I really enjoyed our stay in this cabin. The cabin was very nice and everything was as advertised. Check-in and check-out could not have been more simple. The property managers were very friendly and responded quickly to my questions. We really enjoyed the seating area on the upper deck.

Family Holiday

There is no outdoor kitchen Or fire pit as detailed on the listing. This is the reason I gave a poor rating for that. We actually picked this one over a few others because it said that they have an outdoor Kitchen. There is a small charcoal grill that we had to clean and move to use to use because the area it was in is knee deep in leaves. The bed linens weren’t changed from the previous tenant. We found fingernail clippings, soiled places, lipstick, and kids toys in the made up beds when we arrived. The garage is not finished and has trash and furniture all in it. This is why I gave a poor rating on cleanliness. There is no trash receptacle. There are numerous lights not working. The downstairs outdoor fireplace pilot light is out and it’s rendered unusable. We called the customer service for the management and they promptly sent out a representative. He could not fix anything really but he did light the pilot on fireplace. It went back out. They refunded us 15% and promised to remedy this for the future. It was a really nice place and had very cool things about it nonetheless. Hopefully they will get it together soon.

Awesome outdoor space

Wonderful decks with comfy furniture and fireplaces. Wi-Fi is a bit weak and be sure to bring everything you need to cook, but overall a very clean, relaxing place for a getaway!
