Old Bisbee 5-star
The property was even better than expected, since photos often mislead. It was an exceptionally nice 1BR house, with a pleasant mission-style feel and a large and very well equipped kitchen. The outdoor spaces are fantastic, including an upstairs wraparound deck with views out to the Sierra Madres in Mexico.Host Deanna was super accommodating and attentive, working hard to make us feel comfortable and secure. Communication was very smooth, and she is truly one of the best hosts we have experienced in our 15 years of extensive world travel.Bisbee itself has the old-west feel, with many original storefronts and miners' homes. The housing is mostly up the sides of the canyon, so lots of ups and downs, with either switchback roads or steps, The smaller your car the better, since roads to most houses are narrow and parking can be very tight. This is probably not a town you will enjoy visiting if your not comfortable with at least somewhat vigorous walks. Lots of great hiking in the area, including a few you can walk to from Old Bisbee. Beautiful views of 3 or 4 different mountain ranges are common, and birding seems to be a major attraction, at least in the Spring.Unless your really interested in hamburgers and beer, dining options in the area might seem limited, depending on how long you stay. There are a few good restaurants, a couple decent cafes, and a reasonably good, if very expensive, French-style bakery.

Our favorite rental to date
This was our first time to Bisbee and although the town is historic and cool, Copper Wren made the trip for us. I cannot say enough good things about this property! Every detail is thought of. We were celebrating a birthday during our stay, and the hosts were kind enough to provide a piece of cake with candles, a little birthday balloon to welcome us, and some breakfast items for our first day there. This is above and beyond any rental we've stayed at before! The house itself is so cozy and inviting. Everything is perfectly decorated and has just about everything you'd need during your stay. The beds are comfortable, the towels are soft, the house is so clean, and there are plenty of places to store your items during your stay. Deanna and Troy have thought of everything. We visited when there was little to no moon, so star gazing from the balcony was really cool. And speaking of the balcony, there are many wonderful places to enjoy your morning tea/coffee or an evening cocktail at Copper Wren. The balcony has plenty of comfortable seats to relax and watch the town below, or you can unwind on the cute little patio at the back of the property that is tastefully lit up by bistro lighting. Getting to the property requires walking up several stairs, and parking in the evenings can be a bit challenging, but we never had an issue. Deanne was very prompt and kind with all communication. We will absolutely visit again! Thank you for a great experience!!

Perfect Bisbee weekend!
This property has the perfect location to walk to all the great spots in town. The layout and style of this home show that the owner thought of everything a guest may need. It was perfect for my husband and I, but could have accommodated another couple if needed. I would definitely stay here again! I also recommend the e-bike historical tour of Bisbee through B Active Bisbee.

Wonderful place in a great location with amazing views
Copper Wren in Bisbee is a gem of a property. The location is perfect for being close to what Bisbee has to offer but in a quiet and relaxed location. We felt like we were right at home in this wonderful house. The hosts have thought of everything you might need and then some. It’s the small details that really make a difference and the hosts at Copper Wren have gone above and beyond with their attention to the small details when you stay with them. They’re very responsive and communicative both before and during your visit. They even provided us with a very complete list of things to do in the Bisbee area. If I could rate Copper Wren and its hosts a 10 I would gladly do so. We felt immediately at home and look forward to staying at this property again and again when visiting the area. Thank you for making our first visit to Bisbee carefree, relaxing and enjoyable by providing a beautiful and impeccably maintained home away from home. We truly appreciated your communications and extensive list of things to do in the area, we’ll be back to try even more.

Amazing home in Bisbee
A beautiful and well appointed home in Bisbee overlooking Brewery Gulch. Centrally located to all the sights, bars, hotels and shops. Just a 5 minute walk to the Bisbee Mining Museum and a few minutes more to the mine tour itself. The owners have thought of everything in the Copper Wren, providing us with a fantastic weekend. Definitely a return booking.

Bisbee Getaway
This property was excellent. Dianna, the host, provided ALL the comforts of home and then some. The breakfast items already there included OJ, milk, yogurt, multiple condiments, ice, granola... etc. Whatever you could need to enjoy your stay was already provided in the house.
The location is about a 5-6 minute walk to Old Town Bisbee but I will say the walk back is pretty much up hill the whole way... and, at 5500-ft, it can really get your heart rate up the first few times you do it. BUT, it's very well worth it when the accommodations are so well thought out.
Whenever we go back to Bisbee, this will be the place we stay!
Deanna has ensured her house was amazing. I would definitely recommend staying.

A Perfect Place
The pictures don't do this place justice! It's beautifully rebuilt and decorated, yet still feels very homey. Deanna and Troy are the best hosts ever--they've anticipated every need their guests might have. Their hospitality is impeccable, as was their communication before, during, and after our stay.
Everything is done with quality in mind--linens, kitchen supplies, furnishings. We so appreciated having breakfast supplies ready for the first morning, along with a big bowl of snacks and a water dispenser so we didn't have to buy bottled water. There's also a closet with things you might have forgotten, like toothpaste and cotton balls. So very thoughtful!
The location is great, up above Brewery Gulch and a good brisk walk to Main Street. There's a very tight parking place on the street in front of the house, but we used the lot down below, which was never full. It meant climbing the hill and then the stairs to the house, but it was a good workout after all the eating and drinking. (This is definitely not the house for you if anyone in your party has mobility issues.)
We grew up in Bisbee when it was still a thriving mining town, and it's fun to stay in places there to see how they've been reimagined from their former lives as basic miner housing. But Copper Wren beats them all.
Huge thanks to Deanna and Troy for making our holiday the best!

We have visited Bisbee several times and this is by far one of the best places to stay. The comfort level is high. Beautiful house, from top to bottom. Right near everything you need or want to do in old Bisbee. The sitting area outside the back door is perfectly relaxing with an arbor overhead and birds all around. The wrap around porch on the top level offers comfortable seating to enjoy the stunning views. We will be back.
