Room was small but well laid out. Shelves for easy access to items, a variety of lighting options. We got the 4 person room and one “bed” was a pull out from under the bed. This was firmer and less comfortable than the main double bed and cot. The comforters and sheets were good quality. The room had great air-conditioning, something you don’t always get in the UK. The best part was the location, very central and short walk to New Street train station, and the wonderful breakfast. Selection of coffee, tea, juices, plus fresh made real eggs (scrambled, poached or fried), good mushrooms and grilled tomatoes and beans and meats, croissants/crumpets/toast which can be toasted or warmed by chef, a granola/fruit/yogurt/muesli station. Really everything you could want in an upscale steak house environment. A real pleasure!
