The room was lovely and the receptionist at check in was wonderful. The whole experience was let down by a member of staff in the restaurant at breakfast, I was looking to grab what I thought was a boiled egg ( not realising it was the egg station as there was no signage). The waiter must have assumed I was going to try and cook myself an egg and aggressively asked me ‘what I was doing’ and very directly informed me that it wasn’t an area for people to help themselves. I felt very very uncomfortable and embarrassed as I was dining alone. The gentleman was clearly stressed and overworked but no excuse to make me feel completely humiliated in front of other diners. Could have been done with a bit more discretion so I wasn’t left feeling like a naughty child.

Lovely breakfast with lots of variety…but it wasn’t free (as the previous screen suggests)…we paid £12 each! Staff were friendly. The carpet by my side of the bed (next to the bathroom) got wet…as did some of my clothes. I imagine the shower is leaking into the bedroom. The room smelt a bit fusty. As did all of our things when we left after 2 days…which we didn’t realise until we got home! So I think the problem was a lot worse than we thought it was (we didn’t report it and should have done!).

Car park was an issue, not easy to get into as it was very tight and the app did not work to open the gate neither did the code I was given , luckily the emergency code did. The room was very dark and could not find any switch get the light on the dressing table to work.

Standard rooms, clean and comfy enough. Nice bar area. Friendly welcoming staff. Close to the venue we went to for a gig. I would not recommend booking the parking under the hotel though. There had to be like 20-25 spaces and it was super tight to get in and out. I struggled in a hatch back. Ok if you have a tiny car. There's a big multi story next door, wish I had parked there.

Quite a long queue at check in, but pleasant staff Lovely room, very clean and comfortable Well equipped Not too keen on the pillow though! One not high enough 2 too high!
