The apartment is as advertised - it is small but gets the job done for a ski trip. The comments about the loud noise from the bar downstairs are very accurate - it can be so loud inside the apartment.My biggest complaint is the check in process. The host uses an electronic keypad to enter the unit. When I arrived at 11PM I entered the code that was sent to me and it would not allow me in the unit. I tried many times without success. I texted and called the host approximately 10 times without any reply. I was stuck standing in the hallway outside the unit for 3 hours. I walked over to the nearest hotel at 3AM and when I was about to pay for a night at the hotel, the host texted me back and told me to try the code again. I walked back to the unit (in the snow with all my luggage in the middle of the night), and this time the 4 digit code unlocked the apartment. The host did not take ownership over this mistake on his end. I was very frustrated with the customer service from VRBO also, as they made me wait 3 hours without offering me compensation to stay elsewhere. For the price I paid, I should not have to worry about gaining entry to the property. Something to strongly consider if you plan on arriving late at night - might be best to have a backup plan and reach out to the host prior to arriving to ensure the code is accurately set up.
