The kitchen is lacking someEssentials forCooking. The furniture upstairs is old, dirty and not comfortable. The doors upstairs and the windows downstairs leaked during the rain. The house was fine and we had a great time, but it needs some updates and Is over priced.

Family celebration

Had a great trip to Big Bear! The house was a perfect with spectacular views of the lake. The slope in the back was perfect for sledding and the street was quiet with little traffic so perfect for long walks. Would definitely recommend this property!

The property was great for 6 adults and 5 kids. The great room and kitchen were great for our large group . The bedrooms were comfortable and the place was very clean. The views of the lake and mountains were perfect from the deck. I would come back for sure.

This is a luxury cabin. Very comfortable.

The beds are very comfortable. The linens and towels are the finest quality. The kitchen is a pleasure to use. Customer service was excellent. Great neighborhood. Just a short walk to the marina. Spacious and beautiful.

Great location

We were celebrating a birthday for five days. The house has that wow factor. Great house for a getaway. It was nice that the dogs could be with us and the two back decks perfect for them and us to sit out and enjoy the marina and sunshine. Great time had by all! Thank you.

A terrific Thanksgiving get away!

We spent the holiday here with 6 adults and 3 kids. It is a terrific property with a large open living area conducive to family meals, games, movies, and hanging out. The neighborhood is on a peninsula so very little traffic and great for walks. The deck overlooks the lake/marina and the big yard fronts the shoreline. A short drive to grocery stores and the Village make this a terrific location. Great communication before and during our stay with the property management company. Definitely would stay here again!

Beautiful Lake Front

We spent 4 days and 3 nights for Father's Day Weekend. Perfect location right on the lake. Just a couple minutes walk from the house to the dock which was very convienient to take the fishing boat out early morning or come in late night. The house was beautiful and plenty of room for our big family. The only issue was there was no central air conditioning (only heat) we are happy it didn't get too hot and the fans helped. We would definitely come back and we recommend to friends & family.

No basic supplies

No shovel. No napkins. No hand soap in restrooms. NO EASY ACCESS!!! IF THERE'S SNOW YOU CANNOT GET IN THE DRIVEWAY !! NO ONE IS PLOWING IT! NO SHOVEL! LOST OUR BUMPER ON OUR TAHOE TRYING TO GET IN THEN HAVING TO BACK OUT!

Amazing family winter retreat!

Our 3 families of 11 thoroughly enjoyed staying at the Lakefront Lodge for our winter retreat. We loved the spacious layout of the family room and the open large kitchen with the view to the beautiful lake. We all enjoyed entertaining ourselves in this same room with the pool table and the large dining room table where we played cards and board games while others cooked in the kitchen or watched TV on the comfy sectional couch. Mornings were dedicated to sipping coffee on the beautiful balcony facing the lake, taking peaceful walks with our dog right in the backyard to the lake, as well as doing yoga on the balcony. All the bedrooms and beds were very comfortable with TVs in each room (except for the kids room) if one needed to escape from the group for a little privacy. The design and layout of the house was well thought out and there is never a need for us to contact management for any reason during our stay. We also enjoyed sipping on wine in the Jacuzzi and watching the sunset and grilling on the balcony. On the last night of our stay it snowed and the following morning the kids enjoyed sledding down the backyard hill. Overall, a wonderful vacation home. We will definitely be back!

Comfortable beds

Overall it was fine. The property mgr was so kind and easy to work with. The beds were very comfortable and there is lots of space so it worked for our needs. We paid a lot of money for a view and there are 12 big windows for just that, however 8 of them (the biggest ones) were completely fogged and clearly have been for a long time, so you could not see through them and add to it , every window sill, the balcony and the front entrance /light were covered in cobwebs(including the dining room chandelier and kitchen sink ) This home must have its windows replaced as it takes away from the high costs of a view of the marina . The pots and pans are so old, dented and scratched up that it was hard to cook. I am usually generous with 5 stars but the poor condition of the windows, cooking pans and cobwebs really disappointed myself and my guests and completely took away the good feeling of the beds and large space . Owner has some work ahead of them before this should be rented out again in my opinion

Roomy, great location/balconies. Property manager stepped up.

We had an awesome time at this property just because of its great location and nice views of the lake and marina from the 2 balconies. Plus it was very roomy and very livable for 11 people, which included 5 kids. Having said that, we did notice many items needing repair when we got there. This ended up upsetting us a bit, especially considering we spent a premium price to rent this luxury rental on a holiday weekend. However, WowRentals really stepped up and showed us they were accountable and wanted to do the right thing. They assured us that all repairs we listed would be addressed by maintenance. In addition, they gave us some monetary compensation due to the fact that some items advertised as available at the property were not in full working condition when we stayed there. I’m very impressed with their quick response and true desire to make the property as good as it should be (and as advertised). I always want to applaud anyone who will stand behind their product and correct anything not right. WowRentals did just that. Because they stepped up and wanted to do the right thing, I give them high kudos and will definitely consider them for rentals in the future.

The Great Room is Great!

I would start by saying we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it. I have a lot of cons listed because I feel this might help other renters have a good experience. Pros: beautiful house, the great room was our favorite and where we spent our time, not far from town, good view of the lake Cons: we found a pile of poop on the deck which we disposed of ourselves. The company response was that this is a pet friendly property. Kitchen is very lacking, very minimal cooking tools and bowls and pans, most kitchen plates and bowls were dirty even though they were put away. You HAVE to transport the trash out of the house or they fine you ten dollars per bag, they also want you to wash all the dishes and start the dishwasher. Also other details that were missing: liquid hand soap at all the sinks and tissues. They claim they provide a air mattress but it doesn’t come with a pump. None of the extra pillows had pillow cases on them. Paying an arm and a leg a night I feel these are details they should take care of. Also the house heats unevenly. The great room which we loved and spent the majority of our time was super warm compared to the rest of the house. All the bedrooms on all levels were really cold. The hot tub is small and is for 2-3 people at most. The house has a set of stairs and they do not provide a baby gate which I tried to purchase after I arrived. The house is nice and the great room has a good feel and layout and was the favorite part of our stay. All the quirks and lacking things detracted from the overall feeling of hospitality but we would stay here again if given the choice.
