Beautyful historical fishermen‘s house with chimney and central heating, completely renovated in 2010. The house is located in Premia de Mar‘s historic center, only a 3 -minutes-walk to the sea with its wide sandy beach at the Costa Maresme. You will find anything for your daily needs in the close surrounding: bakeries, supermarkets and nice little boutiques located at the near shopping street as well as sunny street cafés in the neighborhood.
In the small streets around the house are free parking places. Furthermore there is a parking deck in 100 meter distance.

The station is a 10 minutes walk away where trains to Barcelona arrive all 8 - 10 minutes and take 28 minutes to reach Plaça de Catalunya, the city center of Barcelona.

The house has two bedrooms with double beds, living room, dining room and a small separate kitchen, bathroom with bathtub and a extra toilet. The 95 square meters including a small terrace and a leafy courtyard. The house was lovingly restored by designers and equipped with historic furniture.

The property was beautiful, furnished tastefully with antiques throughout. Our host was so kind and warm, and provided all of the comforts of home. The beds were comfortable! Unheard of! There is no freezer, but we made do w a bag of ice in the crisper that we drained daily. The rear patio garden is lovely and gets amazing sunlight most of the day. There is a working wood burning fireplace, but the weather was gorgeous all week so we didn’t need it. Next door is a fantastic Italian restaurant with the most wonderful hostess. We became practically best pals. It’s wonderful to be so near the sea, as well. The area is quiet and a great respite from the crowds of Barcelona, yet so near the train station, and lots of nice places to shop or sit with a glass of wine. My only suggestion is a bedside table w lamp in the rear bedroom. Otherwise, our stay was ideal!

Our recent trip to Barcelona was made more pleasurable with our stay at this stunning house. The property was immaculate and maintained to very high standards. I absolutely loved the courtyard where we ate breakfast every morning with delicious food from the local bakers. The bedding and towels were all very good quality, and thoughtful gestures of water and milk on arrival were greatly appreciated. Our host Bernd was wonderful. He was thorough in his explanation of the property and its surroundings. The local restaurants serve excellent quality food with a lovely atmosphere and service. I would highly recommend this beautiful house to anyone wanting a luxury stay during their vacation.

Wonderful stay

Location of property is prefect for someone wanting to stay outside of Barcelona. Great beach nearby. Easy access to train and train ride to Barcelona is about 30 mins. Property has everything you need to enjoy your stay and extremely well maintained Restaurants, bakeries and grocery stores extremely close by property. Would not hestitate to stay there again. Bernd ( owner) was easy to communicate with and very helpful with any questions asked.

Wonderful place and location.

The cottage was just as advertised with great amenities. The hosts recommendations were spot on which really helped with where to go and what to see. The train station is right around the corner so we took it into Barcelona almost everyday. There is a wonderful Italian restaurant right next door as well as a pub on the same block! It was great.

Paradise by the sea

We spent a week at this lovely property outside Barcelona. A wonderful space with antique furniture and fantastic outdoor areas (2). The place was very clean, the host was very thorough with check-in, and gave us tips for restaurants and taking the train into Barcelona. We had a rental car and worried about parking but it was nearby and cheap. The only two minor negatives were that there was no shower, just a tub, and the WiFi signal is fairly weak. If you’re looking for a quiet spot to relax and enjoy life outside central Barcelona, you’ll love this house!

Beautiful and unique property in great location

Really spacious property, is much bigger than it looks in the photos. Everywhere was spotlessly clean. It's in a great location, there are a few places to eat just a short walk away and a lovely Italian restaurant right next door. Opposite the restaurat there is a square where people gather to drink and children play, it's a really nice family atmosphere. Just be aware the stairs in the property may not be suitable for anyone with limited mobility.

After a long plane ride from USA, it was very nice meeting Bernd at the house. He was very friendly and helpful and had some great tips. The house itself is very clean and in a safe area near restaurants, bakeries and the market. The proximity to the sea and train station was very convenient. My twelve year old son and I loved the beautiful terrace and eating fresh croissants and crepes from the local restaurants after a busy day exploring beautiful Barcelona.

The property owner was an outstanding host and ranks among the very best we’ve encountered. The cottage was exceptionally clean, with an admirable simple elegance that matched the photos and descriptions perfectly. We had a great time in Premià de Mar! Home was quaint and pictures are reliable. No AC and mosquitoes were very bad. We bought mosquito spray and were able to keep windows open. I’m sure this is a seasonal thing but just be prepared. Local grocery stores, shopping, restaurants, and beach were great! Easy to catch train into Barcelona. 10 min walk to station and about 25 mins to city center. Brend, the owner was very helpful and made everything easy. If you want to enjoy the Barcelona area in a relaxed atmosphere, this is the place.

We loved this exquisite home. Our family of 4 stayed for a week. The beds were comfortable. The place is elegant and lovingly furnished. A real delight to rest in after a busy day in the city. It’s in a quiet town right by the sea. Yet the train is easy to use, quick and inexpensive. We enjoyed coffee in the courtyard. We so enjoyed our time in Premia de Mar . A beautiful house brilliantly modernised . It ticked all our boxes and provided easy access to beaches , beach bars and all the tourist attractions of Barcelona. The train service was a dream …and cheap . Barca was amazing ( Sagrada Familia extraordinary) but it was always nice to come back to the more peaceful Premia de Mar at the end of the day . Great stay, good tips and a very local experience

We enjoyed Premia de Mar and the uniquely renovated fishermen house. The back garden gives it a special charm and we used it quite a lot. Perhaps we would have enjoyed more this type of property 5 years ago and without a kid, but our 2 year old made best use of it :) Bernd did his best to help us with suggestions and tips even for things as kids playgrounds and kids friendly beaches. There is a fruteria nearby that Bernd will share with you that sells the tastiest fruit and vegetables. And walk that extra km for the second nearest beach, it will be worth it! Overall nice and very typical Catalan region to spend time in, outside of busy Barcelona!

Our family of 4 ( grandma, daughter,2 granddaughters, all adults) enjoyed our stay.The location was for us was perfect as it was across the plaza where families gathered at night to enjoy a meal and conversation while the children enjoyed playing. The house itself was classically done and very clean and true to the pictures. The restaurant next door was a big plus...wonderful food and friendly staff. Short walk to the beach and convenient to shopping. My granddaughter forgot her lap top connector when we left and the owner shipped it to our Barcelona stay to pick up after our 15 day travel. He was wonderful and dependable. Be aware that there are steps to take both up and down that may not be easy for an older person. All in all we would definitely stay there again.

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in diesem charmanten, alten Fischerhaus in Premià de Mar. Die Unterkunft ist nicht nur stilvoll eingerichtet, sondern auch äusserst sauber und grosszügig geschnitten. Besonders gut gefallen haben uns der schöne, ruhige Innenhof und der Balkon mit Morgensonne – perfekt für einen entspannten Start in den Tag.Der Vermieter war ausgesprochen freundlich und aufmerksam. Er hat sich viel Zeit genommen, uns mit hilfreichen Tipps zur Umgebung sowie zur Anreise und zum Aufenthalt in Barcelona zu versorgen. Die Kommunikation war hervorragend, und die übergebenen Informationen sehr nützlich.Zwei WCs, bequeme Betten, stabiles und schnelles Internet sowie die praktische Lage (mit dem Zug ist man schnell in Barcelona) machen die Wohnung auch funktional zu einer idealen Unterkunft.Wir können diese Ferienwohnung uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen – und würden jederzeit gerne wiederkommen.

Wunderschönes Häuschen

Wir waren im April für eine Woche in diesem tollen Fischerhäuschen. Vom ersten Moment an haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Der Vermieter ist toll, unkompliziert und jeder Zeit erreichbar. Er hat uns viele gute Tipps gegeben.:-) Die Wegbeschreibung vom Flughafen zur Unterkunft mit den Öffis war super genau vom Vermieter beschrieben und auch der Fußweg vom Bahnhof war sehr präzise.Die Unterkunft ist sehr sauber und die Betten sehr bequem. Sie ist mit ganz viel Stil und Charm eingerichtet. Wir waren mit unseren beiden Söhnen 9/11 dort- die sich auch in das Häuschen verliebt haben. Eine Waschmaschine steht auch zur Verfügung/die wir in der Woche auch gut genutzt haben. Bahn und Strand sind quasi direkt vor der Tür, auch Supermärkte, Restaurants,…Die Bahn haben wir täglich genutzt um nach Barcelona zu kommen, was sehr unkompliziert ist. Wir empfehlen diese Unterkunft von ganzem Herzen weiter und hoffen, dass wir Euch wieder besuchen dürfen. :-)

Spacious House in the City Center of Premia de Mar. It was very clean, had two bathrooms and a small but fully equipped Kitchen. In the Backyard ist a nice place to eat or just enjoy yourself.
