Worst buffet staff ever

We loved this hotel. It’s clean, super comfortable, and the desk staff ant check in and bar staff were super friendly and super helpful. We would have given a full 5 star review had it not been for our breakfast experience. The breakfast buffet doesn’t open until 7:30, which is way too late. We were lucky that our flight was late enough that we were able to eat. However, while we were waiting for the buffet to open, we witnessed another hotel guest trying to get something quickly from the buffet at 7:20 because he had to leave for his flight. The buffet staff refused to allow him to take any food at all from the buffet because it was 7:20, not 7:30. Mind you that the buffet was fully stocked. They would not allow a guest to take any food from a stocked buffet so that he could leave for the airport because it was 10 minutes early. There is no place in the hospitality industry for this type of rigid stupidity. Period. When I said something about what we witnessed to the front desk staff at check out, the girl at the desk got snappy and defensive with me about their policy. So now I know when I’m booking a hotel and have an early departure, especially a flight, never book with Hampton again if expect to be able to grab breakfast before I go.

Great hotel, excellent location

The Hampton is a new hotel, well located near a large shopping mall and metro. The breakfast was included and provided lots of choices. It location near the airport metro made getting to airport easy and very easy to get into the city. Would definitely stay here again.

Nice but lacking

Pros: -The hotel was styled very nicely. -Breakfast buffet was very good, with many options. -Secure. Need to scan room key for your floor. Cons: -The rooms are very small, only room for one person so it seems they were designed, based on the location in the business district, for business travelers but there is no usable desk. It's a drop down panel with an uncomfortable chair and little room to sit. It would have been better to remove the bench seating and add a working desk. I'm not sure why the bench is there as the room is too small to have a second person stay in the room. -The ventilation system doesn't adjust to the temperature set so it run constantly unless you manually turn it off so you either go to bed warm or cold.

My stay at Hampton by Hilton Barcelona during the 2024 Christmas holidays was nothing short of AMAZING. The hotel's staff and services were excellent; the receptionists and the staff at the hotel's bar were extremely polite and helpful. The hotel's facilities were in very good condition; the hotel room was impeccably clean and nice and the cleaning personnel did a wonderful job every morning, changing towels and bedsheets every single day, and leaving the room in excellent condition. Having breakfast at the hotel was an enjoyable experience at a well-designed and decorated breakfast lounge that was kept in perfect condition. The great variety of nutritious food and the coffee were delicious—that was a great way to start the day. The area around the hotel was also pleasant as there were many cafes, restaurants, and stores in the surroundings. It was also a nice area to take a walk, with plenty of outside spaces for rest and conversation with friends. The hotel and its excellent services were at the core of our fantastic holiday experience, in addition to the beautiful and incomparable city of Barcelona. Overall, it was a memorable stay at Hampton by Hilton Barcelona, a great transition to 2025.

雖然離市區有點遠，但只需步行數分鐘便到達Metro，去市區只需十多分鐘，非常方便。 房間很大很舒適，除夕還看到煙花。自助早餐選擇頗多，refill 亦很快。 另外附近有大型商場及超大的家樂福，要買手信唔駛四圍搵。

2 minutes walk from the Metro. I found it so convenient to travel into the centre. There is a shopping mall with restaurants just over the road as well some places within a minutes walk. The staff were super friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were ok size and clean. The shower room was spotless and the shower powerful. The included buffet breakfast was less busy if you got there before 8:30 am with a good selection of food and beverages. I would stay here again.
