The staff are so nice and the bed was comfortable. There is all day free coffee and hot/cold water. There is a laundry machine for 40B. It’s very easy to walk cross the river for boats and buses or walk to the train. There are local restaurants around and a very nice and fancy mall super close that has everything.

Nice staff and a washer/dryer to rent but that’s all this place has going for it. Bad location (down a small, dirty alleyway), hard beds, paper thin walls, the cigarette smoke from the sitting area outside our room always wafted into our room, breakfast consisted of toast with some gross looking jams, black coffee with sugar, and tea. It was overall very disappointing.

I stayed at the Decor do Hostel my first 2 nights in Thailand and was very pleasantly surprised and how great it was. My room was clean, the staff were extremely nice and helpful, and it was an easy walk to the pier to go check out other parts of the city.

Comfortable hostel

I had a pleasant stay however the location was not ideal as there wasn’t much going on around the local area for tourists and as I was staying there alone this did affect my overall experience. If I was to return it wouldn’t be alone .

Pleasant place to stay

This is a decently located place by the river and you can easily get to the other side via a bridge or a cheap local boat. The immediate neighbourhood is laidback and gives you a feel for the local life. The people at the hostel are nice and friendly. The room is on the smaller side but still sufficient for the two of us with a big suitcase. There is an unusual sign-in system for the wifi but it works fine. Soundproofing could probably be better but we slept alright. We appreciated the air-con and fridge. Additionally, there is free water in the kitchen, and in the mornings free bread and condiments are also provided.

Rude staff, one of the worst experience

it was the worst hotel I have ever visited and rude staff. I booked one room and was going to stay with dogs as they mention they accept but staff told me there is no room that accept staying with dogs. The staff said there is dog-friendly room but I didn't see any such option on hotel.com and showed him that there is no such mention. but there was no room available anyway so I asked him to return money back but he just rejected and while he was talking to me, he put his leg on the chair and talking to like a friend and he seemed so annoying at me and made some eye contact with other staff and guests. so I had to look for a hotel again at 22:00. His attitude was just rude and the road to the hotel was not nice. difficult to find, very narrow, no parking area around, dirty looking. Finally money has been returned from hotel.com but it was one of the worst hotel I have ever visited.

Clean and friendly!

This is a great choice for backpackers or people who do not require room service, etc. We really liked the front desk gentleman Tee. He was always pleasant and helpful. The room itself was comfortable and clean. The ac worked great as did the wifi. There was a shared kitchen with some cooking supplies. The accommodation was close to the BTS station. We would stay there again.

A valued choice

Excellent customer service and clean facilities. A wonderful location to get around Bangkok and also extremely convenient if you are feeling hungry during the night! Shout out to Uncle Tee who was always jovial and greeting us when we return to the hostel and his patience in providing us with directions. Also, his recommendation of Thong Far (just a short walk from the hostel) serves brilliantly cooked Thai food!

Nice convenient hotel

The staff is very friendly and amenities are all upto mark from a hostel perspective. The place is really close to the river(for river boat trips) and metro station is 10 mins walk away.

Great value for money.

We loved this stay in a bargain spotless queen bed air conditioned room with private toilet & shower, TV and bar fridge. If you're very frail then the (few) steep stairs might be difficult. We had difficulty finding the property on arrival so a detailed map would help. Street names in Thai are useless to Westerners & locals couldn't help us. Excellent brewed coffee and tea (bags) are free all day and there is bread (or toast), butter & 3 jams at no charge every morning. Cooking facilities, plates & cutlery are provided so eggs you can buy from the nearby mini mart will give you a cheap & filling breakfast. Laundry facilities are available. Decordohostel is Bargain priced in anyone's language & close to everything. We'll be back. Oh - only Thai language Cable (Sat) TV is available so you might waste a bit of time channel surfing for foreign news.
