Perfect stay!

A great location for a family get-together for Christmas week, Sunset Retreat was everything we expected and more. The house was clean and welcoming, the beds were comfortable, and the combined kitchen-living space was perfect for our whole family to enjoy time together. A home run! Thanks to Kurt, the host for great communication and moreover, for opening up his awesome home for our family to enjoy for the holidays. Highly recommend!

Dripping Springs Getaway

Kurt's place was beautiful, quiet, and relaxing. There was plenty of room for 4 adults and close to all of our favorite DS places. The beds were great as well as everything in the kitchen we needed to cook meals while we there. Some minor inconveniences happened beyond anyone's control but didn't disturb our stay. I will advise that someone does seem to live here which isn't a bad thing but there was personal stuff and food in the kitchen that we tried to be very respectful of. Other than that we had a great time.

2 Day Stay for Wedding

Stayed at Sunset Retreat for a wedding that was 3 miles from the house. Wonderful, peaceful property with large bedrooms and very comfortable for our party of 4 adults, 2 kids and our doggie. House had everything you would need, was cozy and clean. Would definitely recommend this place!

Relaxing Birthday Weekend

Perfect location for a Distillery crawl throughout the area. You’re so close to Revolution Spirits Distilling, Dripping Springs Distillery, Deep Eddy Distillery, Jester King, and so many other great places for food and drinks. The house itself was clean and spacious. Exactly as the pictures shown. We enjoyed quiet mornings on the patio watching the birds at their feeders enjoying the breeze across the hill country. We all got great nights of sleep on the very comfortable beds, and were able to spend quality time with family from out of town after a day of trying to the local libations. We definitely want to stay here again and suggest you and your family stay here too!

Family Wedding

This is a perfect location for weddings in Dripping Springs or Austin. The house was as listed, clean and supplied nicely. The host / Kurt was awesome and very responsive. The only thing I think it needed was an outside grill.

Excellent location and House

We were pleased with every aspect of our stay. The home is beautiful and arranged for optimal use. Great beds, showers, etc. The outdoors is breathtaking with amazing views and native trees and plants. We enjoyed the outdoor breezeway for relaxing. Our host was kind and responsive. Hill Country Comfort

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely home! It was well appointed to meet all our needs and our grandkids ran to the windows each morning to see the deer in the yard. It was a peaceful stay over a chaotic holiday with family & friends.

Amazing property

We were visiting for a short weekend getaway. This listing is amazing! Clean, close to breweries and distilleries (which is what we were looking to do) and even enjoyed morning coffee outside watching humming birds, and other wildlife. We definitely plan on booking again!

The setting of the home was beautiful. Spring bluebonnets were blooming in the backyard. Everything in the house was clean and tidy. The property owner was very responsive and easy to work with. Will be back again!
