Private garden oasis Close to UGA
A peaceful garden oasis in the middle of east side Athens. Entire basement guest suite with private entrance and covered outdoor patio (complete with patio furniture to enjoy when the weather is nice). Whether you are in town for business or pleasure, come back to your private retreat at the end of the day. Your host family lives upstairs, and are available if you need help or suggestions on true "Athenian" restaurants or activities.
The space:
- Private walkway to the back of the house with an easy smart lock entry for self check-in and check-out.
- Studio offers a newly added king-size bed, comfortable sitting area, updated rugs, and a breakfast table by the window.
- A split system, ductless AC/heater efficiently cools/heats the space, allowing you to precisely control the temperature just how you like it.
- New tankless hot water heater ensures that guests will never run out of hot water, no matter how long of a shower you take!
- Fully equipped kitchen, with all the basic essentials stocked so you can conveniently prepare meals. Coffee, tea, and simple breakfast items also provided.
- Sit outside on the covered patio and enjoy a book, watch the birds, or have your morning coffee.
- Enjoy the convenience of being located close to UGA, food, and shopping, with the benefit of having a private place to retreat to at the end of the day.
Guest access:
One parking space is available in the driveway for guests, and one additional guest vehicle can be parked on the street if needed.
Other things to note:
Our family of 4 lives upstairs above the guest space, and while we will not be having loud events, please expect to hear young children and general family noise above you during the day. We do provide a white noise sound machine to help mask any noise for guests.
