We arrived after a full day of driving. The owner was welcoming and the space was peaceful. We sat under a willow tree in the yard and relaxed. Be aware that restaurants are not open on Monday and Tuesday nights (at least not in September). We got to the grocery store just before it closed a 6. Loved walking along the harbour in the early morning. Pretty and peaceful.

Manitoulin stay

One of the few motels in that area of Manitoulin Island. Very welcoming host and very helpful. A decent restaurant in the area called the Garden Gate. The room was small but cozy and clean. Well set up with coffee and tea. Bathroom clean with a good selection of shampoo, bodywash and skin lotion

Loved the looks when we first arrived. The owners are lovely people. As our stay progressed the ceiling fan was wobbly and clanky so had to turn off. The bathroom crank window would'nt shut and lock.

The motel was clean and comfortable for single night on Manitoulin Island. The bed was comfortable. The location is close to both the bridge and ferry port. Dining options are limited and many close by 7 pm.

The owners were amazing and just so sweet and kind. The room is small but well kept. Hard to find food after 6:30 pm when we arrived, so arrive earlier if you can or come self sustained.

We were running late for check-in, but it didn't matter. They were more than accommodating. Rooms are cute, clean and cozy. Pretty good size to be honest. A nice little tucked away place to stay. I'll definitely stay there again if I'm ever in the area.

Very clean and very quite. Betty Ann was amazing! She even helped us have the best experience with the Island, like a tour guy. Thanks to her, we had a map and visited all the best places in the Island very easily. Definately, all shouls visit the Island and stay at Myfriend Inn.

The Inn was very basic for the price. It was clean. A few added touches were appreciated e.g. the tea kettle. Our issue was finding a close place to eat. We ended up buying microwave dinners at the grocery store. It was quiet at night and a good little town to walk.
