Encantadora casa familiar de 3 dormitorios con bañera de hidromasaje con vistas panorámicas. Nuestra casa está ubicada en 2 acres llenos de Aspen, pino, enebro y roble. Un montón de ciervos salvajes, ardillas, osos ocasionales, águilas. Ubicación muy tranquila para relajarse, pero a poca distancia del centro de Aspen y a solo minutos de cualquiera de las 4 áreas de esquí de Aspen / Snowmass. Equidistante entre el centro de Aspen y Snowmass, a 8 millas de cualquiera de los dos. Gran espacio abierto cocina, comedor y sala de estar. La enorme terraza recorre toda la casa y tiene vistas panorámicas. Barbacoa y bañera de hidromasaje en cubierta, 2. 5 baños. Lavadora / secadora y secadora de temporada de esquí para botas y guantes. Acceso directo a 2 acres de bosques privados con pozo de fuego. Garaje para un automóvil y mucho estacionamiento adicional si es necesario. El área posterior está cercada, por lo que es ideal para un perro (s).

Aspen es una zona maravillosa durante todo el año, con 4 montañas de esquí en invierno; festival de música de Aspen / comida y vino, etc. en verano y el otoño más sorprendente con colores asombrosos. Definitivamente necesitará un automóvil, aunque también puede andar en bicicleta, nuestro camino es una de las rutas para la carrera de bicicletas Pro Challenge. En el invierno necesitarás un 4x4, ya que tenemos mucha nieve. Nuestra casa está a ~ 1 milla de la autopista 82 por una carretera con algunas curvas y curvas con la casa en sí a ~ 8000 pies cuadrados de elevación. En términos de desplazamiento, puede conducir hasta la ciudad, pero si desea evitar la molestia de estacionarse, puede conducir hasta el lote de intercepción (~ 5 minutos) y luego tomar un transporte gratuito a Aspen o Snowmass

Boys Ski Trip

I traveled from Seattle with my two adult sons for 4 days of wonderful skiing at Snowmass. The home was well furnished in a great location midway between Snowmass and Aspen. Communication with the hosts was excellent. Would highly recommend this home.

What a great place

We stayed at the house in August. It’s in a great location. A short drive to Aspen and an even shorter drive to Snowmass Village. And for runners and walkers it’s very close to the Rio Grande paved trail. The house has everything you need and the kitchen is very well appointed. We sat on the deck every evening for happy hour and dinner just loving the view of the mountains. The owner was very nice and very responsive. Would definitely recommend this place

Great location, great house

We had a great stay. The house is a good size and very clean with all the amenities you would need. The outside space is a great extra, especially the hot tub overlooking the valley. Great location near skiing and Aspen town and Basalt.

Lovely ski vacation

The house was very comfortable and as advertised. Check in was easy and the kitchen was very well stocked. As others have mentioned 4 wheel drive is necessary in winter. Location was very convenient to Snowmass and the parking area for free buses to the other mountains.

Friends hiking trip

Fabulous location - the views are magnificent. Really large kitchen, dining area, living room area that are great for group gatherings. Perfect launch point for us to go out and hike on the Maroon Bells and Snowmass trails. Thank you to the Buchanans for being great hosts!

This is a great dog friendly property. Our Dane, loved the yard and the house. the view from the back porch is perfect. Great location outside Aspen/Snowmass/Basalt to hike, enjoy the scenery and relax!

It’s been 8 since a family ski vacation but finally spring breaks and vacations all aligned.

Even my 88 year old mom went skiing. This place is very nice and pretty much within 15 minutes of snowmass and aspen. They had wine and fresh found coffee beans waiting for us !!

Wonderful home with spectacular views

We had a fabulous time for the 9 days we spent at this house. Very well stocked, spacious rooms, wonderful hot tub and a huge deck with views across the valley. Be sure to have a 4-wheel drive vehicle/snow tires as the road up to the house can be snow covered.

Beautiful retreat

We are a group of three female friends who wanted to hike in the Snowmass/Maroon Bells area. This house was the perfect retreat - incredible view, wonderful house, huge kitchen and just an all-round great place to stay to get away from it all. We hiked two days and then cooked dinner at the house all three nights. It was so beautiful to just sit and talk and watch the light change on the hills across the valley as the sun set. Then after dark, the stars were incredible. This is a very special place that we highly recommend. Thank you to our hosts for the incredible stay.

private and quiet with great views

Comfortable house. Well supplied kitchen. Large deck with great views and a hot tub. We enjoyed drinks and dinner on the deck. Owners Steve and Janette live downstairs and are terrific. They don't intrude on your privacy, but respond quickly to questions or issues and are accomodating. Dog friendly with a fenced yard. Description and pictures are accurate. About fifteen minutes to downtown Aspen. Not for you if you want to walk to restaurants/bars/shops, otherwise highly recommended.

Outside Aspen with Dogs

We enjoyed our stay. One thing to note in the listing is that the owner stays on the bottom floor so you are only renting the top 2 floors. The owners are gracious and responsive, but we did feel as if we were intruding. The property is a bit dated, but comfortable. The hot tub and fenced in yard were exactly what we were looking for, however, you cannot leave the dogs out if you leave the property due to neighbors. We had hoped to leave the dogs out while we went to dinner. The view was outstanding saw a double rainbow over Aspen Valley, very cool.

Another amazing stay!

Second year in a row staying in this beautiful house! Perfect location between all the ski resorts 10-15 min drive away. Has all the cooking amenities you could ever want. And the hot tub was perfect with the most beautiful view. Our pup also loved it and the spacious backyard. The owners of the house were also so accommodating and amazing at communicating. Would recommend this house every time!

Wonderful

Best stay we’ve ever had. Unbelievable location, only thing that beat that was how awesome the hosts were. It was our son’s sixth birthday and they gave him a present! They went out of their way multiple times to make our stay perfect. Also, the fenced in space for the dogs is so cool. Lights up at night, plenty of space for them to explore and play and still be safe. Can’t say enough about our stay!

This was a super quiet (private) location with fabulous views and amenities. The fenced in yard, with easy access from the deck was such a plus! Our dogs were happy, and so were we. The owners were so friendly and helpful. I recommend this property wholeheartedly°
